EAST PALESTINE -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen Funeral Home in Salem for Charles Biser, 65, of 5431 Bye Road, who died Monday at home.
Mr. Biser was born May 7, 1935, in East Liverpool, a son of Carl A. and Jennie M. Ferguson Biser, and was a lifelong area resident.
He was a fuel pump repairman and driver for Leake Oil Company and was a member of Solid Rock Community Church in Salem and had served in the Army.
Besides his wife, the former Gertrude L. Little, whom he married May 21, 1971, he leaves two daughters, Edith Kemper of Lisbon and Rachel Biser of East Palestine; five sons, Randall, Richard and Fred Biser, and Howard and Jeffery Sheely, all of East Palestine; four sisters, Dorothy Barnhouse and Ruth Seidner, both of East Palestine, Margaret Callahan of Cambridge, and Marie McCann of New Brighton, Pa.; two brothers, Frank and Eugene Biser, both of East Palestine; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A son, Robert Sheely; a sister, Clara Biser; and a brother, William Biser, are deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
