BLAIR W. PEPPEL, 80

COLUMBIANA -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, Clearwater, Fla., for Blair W. Peppel, 80, of Clearwater, formerly of Columbiana, who died Sunday at home.

Mr. Peppel was born July 7, 1920, in Columbiana, a son of Rollie R. and Rita Reash Peppel.

He served in the Army for 20 years, including at Pearl Harbor, and worked for Honeywell Corp. in Clearwater. He was a Methodist.

His wife, Martha, is deceased.

He leaves two daughters, Christel L. Brammer of Largo, Fla., and Carolyn A. Smith of Kissimmee, Fla.; a brother, Donald R. of Columbiana; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Two sisters, Winifred Gorby and Leora Brathuhn See, and a brother, Paul, are deceased.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
