Safety tips
Tips for a safe Fourth of July from The National Council on Fireworks Safety and the Consumer Product Safety Commission:
Always read and follow the directions on the label.
Make sure an adult is present whenever children use fireworks, and never give any fireworks to small children.
Never throw or point fireworks at others.
Always wear eye protection.
Use fireworks outdoors only and always have water available.
Light one firework at a time and never re-light a "dud."
