CANFIELD

June 17

Theft: Police contacted Ridley, Pa. police about a pair of suspects who may have defrauded a resident in the 60 block of Sandstone Lane by failing to send him a carpet for his car after he paid them $215.

AUSTINTOWN

June 17

Breaking and entering: A man was placed in Mahoning County jail after being accused of breaking into Austin Manor, 3104 S. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: Items were taken from a suitcase left in the hallway at an apartment in the 400 block of Deer Creek Drive.

June 18

Theft: A compact disc player was stolen from a vehicle parked at Regal Cinema, 6020 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal trespass: A woman was charged with criminal trespass at Rebel Lounge, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.

Breaking and entering: A jigsaw was stolen during a burglary of an unattached garage in the 200 block of South Four Mile Run Road.

Criminal damaging: Electrical wires on a vehicle were damaged in the 50 block of North Edgehill Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A lawn was damaged at a home in the 4000 block of Alderwood Drive.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged when its tires were cut at Mahoning Avenue and Raccoon Road.

Criminal damaging: Windows on a residence were damaged in the 500 block of North Four Mile Run Road.

Criminal damaging: The windshield was broken on a vehicle in the 2000 block of Amberly Avenue.

Theft: A ladies purse was taken from a shopping cart at Rulli Brothers, 4331 Kirk Road.

Auto theft: A 1989 Chevrolet Caprice was stolen from Fisher Bord, 3650 Connecticut Ave.

Theft: A red, homemade trailer was stolen from the 4000 block of Kirk Road.

Theft: Two videos were stolen from West Coast Video, 1502 S. Raccoon Road.

Criminal damaging: The window on a vehicle was broken in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

June 20

Sex offense: A woman was arrested on charges of loitering for solicitation and resisting arrest at Rebel Lounge, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: Two men were arrested after being accused of not paying for their meals at Dennys Restaurant, 4927 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Three decorative spheres were stolen from a front yard in the 200 block of North Edgehill Avenue.

Criminal damaging: Lawn ornaments were damaged at a residence in the 5000 block of Cider Mill Crossing.

Criminal damaging: A door frame was damaged at an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Theft from auto: A Sony CD player was stolen from a residence in the 1000 block of Cedarwood Drive.

Theft: A flag and pole were taken from a yard in the 200 block of South Roanoke Avenue.

Theft from auto: A checkbook was taken from a vehicle in the 4000 block of New Road.

Theft: Two women were arrested after being accused of stealing at Fashion Bug, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

June 21

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged in the 30 block of South Edgehill Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A decorative sphere was smashed on the roadway in the 5000 block of North Beacon Drive.

Criminal damaging: A wall was damaged at Lane Funeral Home, 5797 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal trespassing: A woman was charged with trespassing, obstructing justice, possession of drug paraphernalia and parole violation at The Rebel Lounge, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft from auto: A compact disc player was stolen from the 1000 block of Northfield Drive.

June 22

Criminal damaging: Numerous dishes were broken by a man at an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Criminal trespass: A woman was charged with criminal trespass and numerous other charges at the Rebel Lounge, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft from auto: Tools were stolen from a vehicle in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Criminal damaging: Landscape lights were stolen from a residence in the 4000 block of South Warwick Drive.

Criminal damaging: A mailbox was damaged at a residence in the 4000 block of South Warwick Drive.

Criminal damaging: A fence was cut out at Glenwood Cycle, 69 Fitch Blvd.

June 23

Auto theft: A 1988 Honda Accord was stolen from the 3000 block of Cumberland Drive.

Criminal damaging: A mailbox with post was damaged in the 6000 block of Fairview Road.

Criminal damaging: Two tires on a vehicle were cut in the 200 block of South Four Mile Run Road.

Theft: A television, check and cash were stolen from a residence in the 4000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Theft: A wooden mailbox was stolen from a residence in the 5000 block of Vassar Avenue.

Burglary: A VCR and answering machine were taken from the 1000 block of Lancaster Drive.

Attempted: The column on a vehicle was damaged in the 4000 block of Nantucket Drive.

Theft from auto: Golf clubs were stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of Westminster Avenue.

Theft from auto: A Pioneer stereo, Motorola pager and 200 to 250 compact discs were stolen from a vehicle in the 3000 block of Cumberland Drive.

Theft: A purse and its contents were stolen from Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
