HUBBARD -- The Rev. Theodore Schaffer officiated at 3 p.m. June 2 at Grace Lutheran Church for the wedding of Stephanie Marie Handel and Michael A. Burnett.
Parents of the couple are Jerry and Theresa Handel, 2321 Bellwick Road, and Charles and Betty Burnett, 6281 Orangeville-Sharon Road, Hartford.
A reception was held at Willow Creek in Girard.
Jennifer Handel was maid of honor for her sister, and matron of honor was Amy Debevec. They wore pale pink gowns, as did the bridesmaids, Tami Smith, the groom's sister, and Kcey Boros, Erica Costantino and Manal Masury. Kaitlyn Eastman, the groom's niece, was flower girl.
The duties of best man were performed by Bob Ruhlman, and groomsmen were the groom's brother-in-law, Tim Smith, and Bob Calve, Chris Saccomen, Jim Hammond and John Giltner. Ushers were the groom's nephews, Greg Eastman and Tim Smith.
The couple are living at 560 Gladys St.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in physical therapy, Mrs. Burnett is a licensure applicant physical therapist with Action Physical Therapy.
Her husband holds a juris doctorate from Akron University School of Law and is employed by the Hartford Police Department and the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office.
