Family celebration honors Pastulas' 50th anniversary

STRUTHERS -- Mr. and Mrs. Jack Walter Pastula, 494 Seventh St., were honored on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary during a party June 17 at the Boardman home of their daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Bruce Rigelsky.

Co-hosts were another daughter and son-in-law, Colleen and Dan Egnacheski of Poland.

The former Lois Colleen Aldrich and Mr. Pastula were married June 16, 1951, at the home of the Rev. Vernon Guttenfelder in Sikeston, Mo., in a double wedding ceremony with the bride's sister, Charlotte, and J.D. Gooch, is who deceased.

Their family also includes four grandchildren.

Mrs. Pastula was a cashier at Stambaugh-Thompson Co., Boardman, and retired in 1993.

Retiring in 1988, Mr. Pastula was the caretaker at the William F. Maag Jr. estate in Boardman. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

The couple are members of Simon Road Church of God, where Mrs. Pastula has served on various committees.
