A burglary at a baseball field concession stand is the focus of Mercer County Crime Solvers this week:
Crime: Burglary and theft.Location: Hickory High School, North Hermitage Road, Hermitage.Details: Police said someone broke into the baseball field concession stand behind Hickory High School between 2 and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Soft drinks, candy and souvenirs were taken but later recovered in plastic bags on nearby Westminster Drive. Two possible suspects were seen leaving the area in a burgundy-colored, four-door car around that time.Descriptions: The driver of the car was described as a white male in his mid- to late teens, about 5 feet 7 inches tall with a thin build, short hair and glasses. His passenger was a white male about the same age but with a large build, sandy-colored crew-cut hair and wearing a gray short-sleeved shirt and khaki knee-length shorts.Contact: Call Crime Solvers between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at (724) 347-HELP.
