Coalition of black women has election

YOUNGSTOWN -- Youngstown Coalition of Black Women held election of officers June 15 at the Pincham Initiative Resource Center.

Doshia Banks was elected chairwoman; Jennifer Miller, vice chairwoman; Marsha Ellis, secretary; Barbara Franklin, treasurer; Edna Pincham, member-at-large; and Delphine Baldwin-Casey, public relations.

The volunteer organization strives to develop strategies that are supportive of women and children who live in Youngstown and to increase the participation of women in the political process.
