COCONUT GROVE, Fla. -- Christopher George Kaye and his bride, the former Amy Lynn Malmsberry, both of 7786 S.W. 102 Lane, Miami, left for a honeymoon to Italy after their wedding May 18 at Plymouth Congregational Church.
The Rev. Dr. Robert Burt presided at the 5:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Phillip Malmsberry, 12820 Malmsberry Road, Beloit, and Martha Lewis, 72940 Mahoning Ave., Diamond, and the son of Donald and Christine Kaye, 8553 S.W. 169th Terrace, Miami.
Beaded embroidery enhanced the bride's matte satin gown. It featured a cathedral train.
Butter-colored gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Beth Hall of Lordstown, and the bridesmaids, Carrisa Cook of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Carleen Braithwaite of New York City, and Patricia Garvie of Memphis, Tenn. Flower girls were the bride's nieces, Courtney and Brittney Hall of Lordstown.
Best man was Juan Fernandez of Miami, and groomsmen were the bride's brother-in-law, David Hall of Lordstown, and Anthony Milan and Richard Ruiz, both of Miami. The bride's cousin Luke Malmsberry of Louisville, was ring bearer.
The bride earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Akron and a masters in nursing from the University of Miami. She is an advanced registered nurse practitioner with the University of Miami Medical School, Miami.
The groom, a firefighter/paramedic with the city of Miami, graduated from Miami-Dade Community College.
