Ikebana chapter holds flower show

YOUNGSTOWN -- Ikebana Youngstown Chapter held a two-day flower show and tea June 2 and 3 at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center at Fellows Riverside Gardens, Mill Creek Park.

The show featured arrangements depicting the four graces of Japanese women as well as the tea ceremony arrangement.

Arrangements displayed with Japanese screens consisted of the various schools of Ikebana, including Ikenobo, Ohara, Chiko and Ichiyo. Several bonsai trees also were displayed as well.
