Mr. and Mrs. James McMurray feted at surprise party for 40th anniversary

BOARDMAN -- Mr. and Mrs. James E. McMurray, 7457 Sugartree Drive, were guests of honor during a surprise party June 2 in celebration of their 40th wedding anniversary.

Hosts for the event held at Heck's Restaurant in Columbiana were their daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Cork Conway of Aurora and Lori and Tom Shutrump of Mason.

The former Patricia Gallaugher and Mr. McMurray exchanged marriage vows during a ceremony June 3, 1961, at St. Charles Church.

Mr. and Mrs. McMurray are members of St. Charles where she is a part-time secretary.

Retiring in 1999, Mr. McMurray was a sheet metal worker with Sheet Metal Local 33 of Youngstown. He is a member of the American Motorcycle Association.

The family includes six grandchildren.
