CECELIA MURPHYMATTHEW RICHARD
YOUNGSTOWN -- Monsignor Lawrence Fye solemnized the marriage of Cecelia Murphy and Matthew Richard, both of 2216 Huntingdon Chase, Dunwoody, Ga., on May 12 at St. Columba Cathedral.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. James Murphy Sr., 25 Wilma Ave., and the groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Richard, 280 Bartow Drive, Barboursville, W.Va.
After accepting congratulations during a reception at The Georgetown in Boardman, the couple left on a wedding trip to Destin, Fla. They live at 500 Charles Drive, Canton, Ga.
Designed with a square halter neckline, the bride's Italian satin gown featured a beaded bodice, basque waist, flared skirt and a chapel train.
Turquoise gowns were worn by Maria Miller, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Mary McCarthy, Margaret Hittie, Shannon Murphy, Lynn Orr, Carrie Pappagallo, and Christie Clementi. Flower girls were Rhiannon Murphy and Carney McCarthy.
Performing the duties of best man was Christopher Bellamy, and groomsmen were Christopher Richard, Anthony Richard, Shawn Murphy, James Murphy Jr., Charles Murphy, and William Hittie. Ring bearer was James Murphy III.
The bride attended Youngstown State University and is a manager at Talbots Inc. in Atlanta.
The groom is a manager at Valu City, also in Atlanta.
