Youngstown ASWA holds election

YOUNGSTOWN -- Elaine Scheel of Columbiana was elected president for 2001-02 when the Youngstown Chapter of the American Society of Women Accountants met May 9 at Kilcawley Center at Youngstown State University.
Serving with her will be Cathy Turney of Boardman, vice president; Mary Lodge of Salem, secretary; and Lois Jones of East Palestine, treasurer.
Completing the board of directors are Frankie Harbol and Gertrude Martin, both of Canfield, and Janet Summer of North Lima.
The Youngstown Chapter emphasizes student development and continuing education. This year the chapter presented a $1,000 scholarship to an accounting major at YSU. Applicants for the local scholarship are recommended for national scholarships.
