The board of the Youngstown Civic Center Development Corp. did the following at its meeting Thursday:
Received draft copies of a contract between the city and the board. City Law Director Robert Bush said the contract doesn't have to be made public in draft form.
Heard Jay Williams, the city's Community Development Agency director, report that the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has reviewed and approved the board's $100,000 startup budget.
Heard its vice chairman, Robert Van Sickle, say he'd like the board to occupy its new quarters on the second floor of the city-owned Wick Building by July 1.
Authorized Van Sickle to write an advertisement seeking proposals for a temporary consultant.
Activated its personnel committee to consider proposals for legal services and its finance committee to consider proposals for directors' and operators' liability insurance, with June 15 being the deadline for both types of proposals.
