STRUTHERS -- A reception was held at The Georgetown in Boardman on June 23 to honor Kevin M. Blucker of Struthers and his bride, the former Lisa D. Litavetz of Boardman, who were united in marriage that day during a 2 p.m. ceremony at St. Nicholas Church.
The Rev. Philip Rogers presided at the wedding for the daughter of Robert and Phyllis Litavetz of Boardman, and son of Gary and Janice Blucker of Struthers. Afterward the couple left on a wedding trip to Las Vegas.
The bride's white satin gown was embellished with pearls, sequins and Battenberg lace and featured a royal train.
Christina Meloro, the honor attendant, wore a plum gown, and bridesmaids, Kimberly Klem, Robin Rodney, Vickie Litavetz, Kelly Blucker, Emilie Ridge, Carol Moschella and Heidi Rupp; and junior bridesmaids, Morgan Rodney and Savanna Sandrock, wore lilac gowns. Flower girls, Kara Klem and Sabrina Welce, wore white gowns.
Serving as best man was Sean Blucker, and groomsmen were Chris Blucker, Mark Musitano, John Litavetz; Mike Klem, John Rodney, Scott Stenglein and Ben Tiratto. Ring bearer was Justin Rodney.
The bride holds a managing cosmetologist degree from Ken-Delle Beauty Academy and is employed at The Hair Connection, both in Boardman.
The groom attended Youngstown State University.
