A new iced-tea jug
Bodum, maker of coffee, tea and kitchenware products, has come out with a new iced-tea jug. The Ceylon Ice Tea Jug holds 50 ounces and uses either loose tea or tea bags with its removable filter. Pour 3 to 4 ounces of boiling water over the tea and let it brew about 10 minutes. After brewing, remove the filter (with the tea) and fill the jug with cold water or ice cubes. The tea can be sweetened as desired.
This tea jug also works well for sangria if you want to remove the fruit. Place the fruit in the filter and add the wine. The fruit stays in the filter while you pour. The iced-tea jug is available for about $15 in the cafe area at Barnes & amp; Noble Booksellers or at www.bodum.com.
