Fireworks Festival set in New Castle

NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Fireworks Festival 2001 will kick off at 3 p.m. today on the south side of the Columbus Innerbelt behind Cascade Galleria. Admission is free. If it rains, activities will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday.

Events:

3 to 9 p.m. -- Children's games, rides and activities

3 p.m. --Entertainment by Stoneridge Country

4 p.m. -- McGill Community Band

5:30 p.m. -- Richard Hosie Bagpiper

6 p.m. -- Justie the Clown's Magic Show

6:30 p.m. -- Castle Country Cloggers

7 to 10 p.m. -- The Dorals

7:30 p.m. -- American Cancer Society Ducky Derby

9:15 p.m. -- Children's Fireworks

10 p.m. -- Fireworks.
