YOUNGSTOWN -- Marriage vows were exchanged at 2:30 p.m. June 30 at the Hungarian Presbyterian Church by Susan Rae Szabo, daughter of Mrs. Stephen Szabo Jr. of Youngstown and the late Mr. Szabo, and John Emanuel Koulianos, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Koulianos Sr. of Campbell.
The Rev. Gerald Fennell officiated, and a reception took place at Antone's Banquet Centre in Boardman. The couple are honeymooning in Jamaica and will live at 3750 Mercedes Place, Canfield.
The bride's princess ivory silk satin gown featured an A-line skirt and a chapel train. She was given in marriage by her brothers, Stephen and David Szabo.
Matron of honor was Shirley Szabo, and bridesmaids were Michelle Wuchnic, Dawn Kessler, Sue Prozy and Domenica Melia. Junior bridesmaids were Kristin and Kayla Szabo. They wore purple gowns.
Steve Koulianos was best man, and groomsmen were Michael Marantis, Michael Rich, Richard Duffett and Stratos Tsambarlis. Ring bearer was Charles Koulianos, and ushers were Marc Ellis, Chuck Miller, Frank Prozy and Angelo Peroulakis.
The bride, a graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary and special education and a master's in school administration, is an elementary-school teacher with the Jackson-Milton Local School District.
The groom holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Mercyhurst College, Erie, Pa., and is a quality-control technician for Americoat Painting Co. in Campbell.
