CLEVELAND -- Apryl Ference Seide, a Youngstown native, has joined the law firm of Baker & amp; Hostetler LLP as an associate in its Cleveland office. A 1990 graduate of Ursuline High School, Ference Seide earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from John Carroll University and earned her law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. She worked for other law firms in Cleveland and Akron while pursuing her law degree.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Dr. Earnest Perry has been named chairman of the department of surgery for Forum Health, and Dr. Robert Sinsheimer has been named senior vice president of medical affairs.
Dr. Perry, a board-certified surgeon who had been interim chairman of surgery for Forum's Northside Medical Center, Tod Children's Hospital and Beeghly Medical Park, was selected for the permanent position after a national search. A graduate of Youngstown State University and Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tenn., he had been chairman of the Forum Health/Western Reserve Care System board of trustees.
Dr. Sinsheimer, a board-certified family practice physician, had been chairman of the Department of Family Practice. A graduate of Princeton University and the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, he will work in Forum's Mahoning County facilities, assuming oversight of the Department of Medical Affairs upon the retirement of Dr. Gene Butcher.
FRANKLIN, Pa. -- Beth Kaltenbach of Oil City has been appointed site manager and vice president for National City Corp.'s Franklin Telephone Banking Center. She has been employed in retail management with the company for 21 years and had been automation and support manager for the company's three telephone banking centers since 1995.
POLAND -- Gay Lynn Anderson, a Poland native and 1983 graduate of Boardman High School, has been named head athletic trainer, adjunct professor and athletic training clinician at Park University in Parkville, Mo. Anderson earned a bachelor's degree in health education from Ohio University and a master's degree in health and physical education from Northwest Missouri State University. Certified nationally as an athletic trainer, she had been assistant athletic trainer and assistant clinical specialist at Northeastern University in Boston.
NILES -- Charles Pollock, formerly of Niles, has been named vice president for enrollment management at Western New England College in Springfield, Mass. Pollock has a bachelor's degree from Mount Union College, a master's degree from Miami University of Ohio and a doctorate from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. He had been dean of enrollment management since 1992 and has been employed at the college since 1977. He lives in Wilbraham, Mass.
MASURY -- Tom Libeg, a 1997 graduate of Kennedy Christian High School and a Masury native, has accepted a position with Ernst & amp; Young LLP in Cleveland where he will be part of the firm's Assurance and Advisory Business Services practice. He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Bowling Green State University and plans to continue his studies at the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Ind.
