YOUNGSTOWN -- Monsignor David Rhodes heard the exchange of vows between Corey Ann Knoefel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell W. Knoefel, all of 4582 Alderwood Drive, Canfield, and Dr. Christopher Michael Schuler, son of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Schuler, all of 4962 Leffingwell Road, Canfield, during a 2 p.m. ceremony June 2 at St. Christine Church.
After a reception at the Lockwood House in Boardman, the couple left on a western Caribbean cruise.
They live in Greenville, N.C.
Mrs. Schuler graduated cum laude from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
The groom earned a medical degree at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown. He is a surgical resident at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
Bugle beads and pearls accented the bodice of the bride's white gown fashioned with a halter neckline and a skirt with sweep train.
The bride's sister and honor attendant, Kelley Lucarell of Hainsville, Ill., wore a periwinkle dress, as did the bridesmaids, Erin and Trish Schuler, both Canfield, the groom's sisters; Kelly McNab of Poland; and Rebecca Wollet of Cincinnati. Amanda Kabetsko of Poland, the groom's cousin, was flower girl.
Jerod Bouslough of Boardman, the groom's cousin, was best man. Groomsmen were Bill Schuler of Boardman and Brian Schuler of Gainesville, Fla., the brothers of the groom; Noah Miller of Akron; and David Ohl of Austintown.
