YOUNGSTOWN -- The Rev. Mijoljub Matic solemnized the marriage of Melanie Lee Oljaca, 6021 Boulder Creek, Austintown, and Joshua Justin Easto, Okinawa, Japan, during a ceremony July 28 at Old Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church.
After the 5 p.m. service the newlyweds accepted congratulations during a reception at the Serbian Orthodox Center.
The bride is a daughter of Mia and David Cessna of Austintown and Mark Oljaca of Cleveland. The groom is a son of Richard Easto of Indiana and Linda Matthews of Houston.
The bride served two years in the U.S. Marine Corps in the military police.
The groom is a Marines corporal stationed in Okinawa in aviation electronics.
The bride wore a white brushed satin gown styled with an empire waist and embroidered bodice.
Kristen Brkich of Girard, the bride's cousin, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth and Stefanie Oljaca, both of Austintown, the bride's sisters, and Mara Gagic of Paris, her cousin. They wore blue dresses. Flower girl was Marina Pavlichich of Austintown.
Jacob Henderson of Houston served as best man. Kum was Mirko Popovich of Austintown, and stari svat was Nik Soljaga of Parma, the bride's cousin. Groomsman was Daniel Oljaca of Austintown, and ring bearer was Dylan Cessna of Austintown, her brothers.
The newlyweds honeymooned in San Diego and Los Angeles. They will live at Camp Pendelton, San Diego.
