Drake Well Museum

The museum is on the site where, in 1859, Edwin Drake drilled the first oil well. Here are some facts about the facility:

Open year-round, except for train rides, which are from June through October.

Features various machinery exhibits, as well as a reproduction of Drake's steam engine.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays. Also open Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day.
