BOARDMAN -- St. Luke Church was the setting at 2 p.m. Aug. 18 as marriage vows were exchanged by Maria Sunseri and David Abrahamson.
Edward and Kathryn Sunseri, 6604 Appleridge Drive, are the bride's parents, and the groom is a son of James and Sheryl Abrahamson of 8156 Abbington St. N.W., Massillon, and the late Betty Abrahamson.
The Rev. Joseph Fata officiated, and a reception was held at The Georgetown. The couple are honeymooning in Jamaica and will live at 2222 Teakwood Drive, Kingsley, Mich.
A band of pearls and beads embellished the neckline of the bride's white strapless A-line gown with chapel train.
Stacy Berman was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Michele Pelletier, Colette Davis, Jennifer Geraci and Erin Sunseri, the bride's sisters; April Sunseri and Amanda Petricca, her cousins; Paulette White; and Colleen Kennedy. They wore eggplant-colored gowns.
Best man was Michael Abrahamson, the groom's brother, and groomsmen were Ed and Michael Sunseri, the bride's brothers; Ken Thomas; Michael Geraci, her brother-in-law; Joseph Bertillacci; Jeff Kurz; Fred Kurz; and Ron Nanosky.
Mrs. Abrahamson graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education.
Her husband holds a bachelor's degree in business from Kent State University and is employed in sales and marketing with R.J. Reynolds in Kingsley.
