Making the right choice

When choosing a color, keep these tips in mind:

Before you decide on a color, take color samples outside to look at them under varying light conditions. Do you like the way the color looks in the sun as well as in the shade? How about in twilight?Dark colors absorb light and heat and will make a house look smaller, but they can also create dramatic results.Light colors will make a house look larger and will reflect light and heat, which makes them a great choice for homes without a lot of shade.Paint landscape accessories, such as gazebos, benches, window boxes and garden furniture the same color as your home's trim.
