COLUMBUS -- Two Mahoning Valley organizations were among 69 communities and non-profit groups in Ohio to receive state grants to assist homeless people. The Warren-Trumbull Urban League received $69,900 and the Community Action Agency of Columbiana County Inc. received $47,200. Ohio Department of Development's emergency shelter grant program provided about $6 million to agencies to be used to sustain emergency shelter operations and increase supportive services, case management, referral services and transportation.
