YOUNGSTOWN -- A honeymoon to Jamaica followed the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick A. Turner who exchanged vows July 6 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Monsignor Michael Cariglio and Deacon Kevin McCaffrey officiated for the former Yvonne J. Curran, 12245 1/2 Magnolia Blvd., Valley Village, Calif., and the groom, 21200 Victory Blvd., Woodland Hills, Calif., at the 4 p.m. ceremony.
Dr. and Mrs. John J. Turner, 800 Augusta Place N.E., Warren, are the groom's parents.
The bride, who is originally from Dublin, Ireland, attended secretarial school there. She is an executive assistant at Goldman, Saks and Co. in Los Angeles.
Mr. Turner studied business at Ohio State University, Columbus, and is director of marketing at Catalina Yachts in Los Angeles.
The newlyweds were honored during a reception at Youngstown Country Club, Liberty Township. They live in Valley Village.
Michele Lyons of Los Angles was honor attendant and wore a lavender gown. Flower girl was Laura Curran of Nice, France, the bride's niece. She wore pink.
Michael Turner of Youngstown served as best man for his brother. Ushers were Jason Turner and Joseph Turner, both of Youngstown, the groom's nephews. Another nephew, Jacob Turner of Granger, Ind., was ring bearer.
The bride's sisters, Jeana Curran of Nice, and Barbara Coffey of Dublin, also participated.
Antique lace and pearls highlighted the bride's off-the-shoulder gown of ivory raw silk styled with a long train.
