NORTH LIMA -- Paula Cari Lyda, 10611 Route 46, Canfield, and Michael Shane Wonner, 335 W. Salem St., Columbiana, were married at 1:30 p.m. July 7 at Mount Olivet United Church of Christ by the Rev. Mindy Lacefield. A reception followed at the Maronite Center, Youngstown.
Parents of the newlyweds are Jerome and Billie Lyda of the Canfield address and Roy and Leann Wonner of 14946 Waterford Road, Petersburg.
The bride wore a white A-line gown with cathedral train.
Since returning from a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas, they live at the groom's address.
The bride earned a degree in early childhood education at Kent State University. She is a kindergarten teacher in Salem City Schools.
Mr. Wonner is an electrician with B & amp;J Electric.
Wearing sage green dresses were Donna Burnell, the bride's sister and honor attendant, and bridesmaids, Lorraine Wonner, the groom's sister-in-law; Tami Somers, the groom's sister; and Laura Bacon; Rachael Rice; and Nichole Levesque. Flower girls were Emily Sommers, the groom's niece; Delanie Burnell, the bride's niece; and Jessica Gordon and Sami Semach.
Skip Wonner, the brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Tom Koch; Jared Mihalko; Jon Burnell, the bride's brother-in-law; Shawn Sommers, the groom's brother-in-law; and Jerry Lyda, the bride's brother. Ring bearers were Trey Wonner and Christian and Nathan Sommers, nephews of the groom.
