Teen drug use

Prem Shah, 16, asked 400 high school students in Cuyahoga, Trumbull and Mahoning counties questions about drugs. Here is how their answers ranked:

What drug/drugs do you most frequently see at your high school? Tobacco, 90 percent; steroids, 4 percent, crack cocaine, 4 percent.

Do you feel that more or less attention should be given at your school regarding drug usage? More, 54 percent.

Have you seen drugs being used or sold on school grounds? Used, 59 percent; sold, 44 percent.

Do you feel that faculty at your high school takes appropriate action when spotting drug usage at school? No, 81 percent.
