GETTING IT RIGHT
UCourt documents say Struthers Police Capt. Thomas Skovira received an anonymous tip that a department employee was working at Kaufmann's Department store during her police department work hours. A story in Tuesday's editions incorrectly said the tip came to Skovira and officer Joseph Gabriel Jr.
The story also suggested that Gabriel, who is retired from the Struthers force, is still on active duty.
UThe times listed for the Boardman Library book sale were incorrect in Sunday's paper. The correct times are: 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 15 (members only); 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Aug. 16; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 17; and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 18.
XVerifiable errors, omissions and clarifications are handled here. If you believe the information in an article was incorrect, call the appropriate department heads at 747-1471; Regional Desk, Ext. 226; Social, Ext. 282; Entertainment, Ext. 236; Sports, Ext. 292.
