Over Thanksgiving, do something nice for 37 area soldiers

So what do you have planned for the holiday weekend?

I'd like you to put one thing on your agenda -- especially if you have kids around the house.

Write to our Valley soldiers overseas and put together a holiday care package for them.

On vindy.com, we have a lengthy list of soliders from the valley who would be touched and greatful for such a gesture.

After last year's inaugural Operation Holiday Cheer, we received a great letter from a solider who could not express enough what Operation did for him and his comrades. The letters he received started in a trickle. Then a few more. Then the bunches came. He was stunned and puzzled. It was later that he learned about the Vindy project that had his name listed.
