The Junior Greatest Golfer of the Valley format will consist of six qualifier opportunities throughout the Valley. We have added a 12, 13 & 14-year old division in addition to the 15, 16 & 17-year-old division. From those qualifiers and divisions, a total of 48 juniors will advance to the Greatest finals July 21 at Trumbull Country Club. Below are the qualifier dates. Some of the rules of play follow the dates.

TWO JUNIORS DIVISIONS:
Upper: Ages 15,16,17 (18-year-olds who will still be in high school for 2012-13 year are eligible)
Lower: Ages 12,13,14 (Regardless of the qualifier date, you compete in division that reflects your age as of July 21; no playing up a division unless you are a past “Greatest” champ)
RESIDENCY: Players must reside in The Vindicator delivery area of Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana, Mercer and Lawrence counties.
REGISTRATION: The tournament hosting is the course’s responsibility. All fees, signups, rules and day-of-play management will be handled by the course. Play in as many qualifiers as you like.
ADVANCEMENT: The top two girls and boys in each division at each site, so a total of 4 players from each qualifier, will advance to the finals.
