Long Description: How did the young Abe Lincoln from most humble beginnings evolve into President Abraham Lincoln, our greatest Chief Executive? Despite family misfortunes, one year of formal schooling, a difficult marriage, more political losses than victories, and a meager military record, Abraham Lincoln would overcome all this to be extolled today. This presentation by Gerry Bazer will explore how Lincoln overcame all those obstacles. Bazer is Dean of Arts and Sciences (Emeritus), Owens Community College; and former Adjunct Professor at Boston College and the University of Toledo.
