Description: Don't miss this one! It is our signature event. More than just a craft show, step back in time in 1790-1820 open log cabin village, watch grain being ground in grist mill, fish in pond or river, watch artisans in blacksmith shop, and listen to period music from Salem's Dulcimore Traditional Folk Music, Native American flute music and story telling, learn quilting techniques. Other crafters include one of a kind dolls with homemade clothing and furniture plus much much more. Hands on exhibits for young and old. Hively's maple syrup winning highest USA award in grade from Columbiana will be on sale. Experience what class was like in an Abraham Lincoln period log school. Buy historic toys, books, shirts, and much more in Trading Post. Pull up a chair and sit around the pot belly stove, join the talk. All maitanence, repairs, programs, are done by monies from events hosted by volunteers. The event is free, parking is free, a shuttle service to and from area is free.
