Description: Geauga, Lake, Mahoning and Trumbull Counties are proud to announce the 2010 Northeast Regional Democratic Women’s Caucus Convention on Sunday, February 28, 2010 from 11:00am to 3:30 pm at the Trumbull Career and Technical Center, 528 Educational Highway, Warren, Oh 44483. State Supreme Court candidate Mary Jane Trapp, Secretary of State Candidate Maryellen O’Shaughnessy, Lt. Governor Candidate Yvette McGee Brown, and April Carson, from Alliance for Justice, will join other elected officials and political activists to share their knowledge and expertise. A short lunch will be served, and at 1:30 an exciting candidate forum will feature U.S. Senate Candidates Jennifer Brunner and Lee Fisher. Doors open and registration begins at 11am. Issues panel sessions beginning at 11:30am. will cover issues such as political campaign organization, polling and fundraising, elder care and child care, networking, health care and resources, and gender and equality issues. Anyone interested in learning more about the political process or how to get more involved is encouraged to attend. The sessions will educate and mobilize anyone interested in becoming more politically active. There will also be several important exhibiters with information for attendees Cost is $35.00 for advanced tickets, $45.00 for walk in registration and $20.00 student tickets.
