Description: Comedy by Neil Simon….Director: Terri Gilbert: “God’s Favorite” is Neil Simon’s modern day play based on the Book of Job. A Long Island mansion is the setting for this hilarious romp that includes a pious God-fearing tycoon, his long suffering wife, a prodigal son and a pair of kooky twins. When God’s messenger arrives the temptations begin. It's a story about a guy whose faith is everything -- more than all of the riches he has accumulated in his life. Suddenly, he learns he is going to be tested for that faith, and he is absolutely not going to fail. Will he renounce God or be visited by all the afflictions you can imagine? You’ll find yourself asking, “How much can a man love God?” It is a biblical interpretation that will leave you laughing all the way home!
