Benefit for accident victim Eric Pirtz of Cortland

Place: Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar - Niles, Niles, OH

When: Monday, December 7, 2009, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Description: Eric Pirtz of Cortland was involved in a serious car accident on Sept. 4 He has since been in a coma and is currently a long-term acute care patient at St. Elizabeth-Boardman. A 2007 graduate of Lakeview, Eric just had entered his junior year at Ashland University and was starting center fielder for the Ashland baseball team. Applebee's in Niles will be holding a benefit for Eric on Monday, Dec. 7 from 11 a.m. to close. Those with special flyers who dine that day at Applebee's will have 10 percent of their bill donated to benefit Eric's medical bill. A flyer must be presented for the donation.
