WARREN Greg Williams struck out six in pitching a six-inning no-hitter, coming within one walk of a perfect game, for Warren Harding. Tom Popadak had four hits, three RBIs and scored three runs, while Brett Kingery added two hits and two RBIs.

AUSTINTOWN Junior left hander Steve Gruver struck out 12 batters and gave up three hits over six innings in a Federal League game. Joe Koch, Chuck Olesky, Mike Dota and Xavier Godoy and juniors Nick Wiery and Jim Kinnick had two hits apiece for Fitch (3-1, 1-0). Kinnick knocked in three runs, while Godoy had two RBIs and Wiery one for the Falcons. Mike Popio, Corey Keller and Kevin McCulloh had singles for Boardman (0-1).
Ursuline 4, Mooney 3
STRUTHERS With one out and the bases loaded, senior Eddie Rohan knocked in Joe Wielbruda with the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh for Ursuline (4-2). Rohan finished with two hits and two RBIs. Wielbruda, a junior, singled to reach base. Mark Lapikas and Nick McCartney, both juniors, had two hits apiece for the Irish. Scott Smith and Bob Herberger both had two hits for Mooney (3-2).
Liberty 4, Hubbard 2
HUBBARD Sam Jaffee had three hits and Cory Treharn knocked in two runs. Treharn's five-hitter included five strikeouts and two walks. Also for Liberty, Justin Barker had a double. Joe Marando doubled for Hubbard, whose pitcher, Steve Zubyk, recorded 10 strikeouts.
Poland 10, Salem 3
SALEM Brett Pitzulo homered, tripled, singled and drove in five runs to lead Poland in a Metro Athletic Conference game. David White and Trent Vallinger each had two hits and Vallinger had two RBIs for the Bulldogs (3-1, 2-0). David Wright and Danny Fortney each had two hits.
Struthers 12, Chaney 0
YOUNGSTOWN Reliever Ben Habuda, a junior, gave up one hit over three innings and senior Mike Barone went 3-for-3 with a double and two singles to lead the Wildcats (4-2). Habuda replaced starter Mike Vitucci who allowed one hit before getting injured while running the bases in the first inning. Barone finished with two RBIs and Ryan Stanko, a senior, tripled for Struthers (4-2).
Canfield 16, Campbell 0
CANFIELD Mike Hoelzel had three hits, including a double, and four RBIs for Canfield. Andrew Turocy pitched a one-hitter through five innings.
McDonald 9, Western Reserve 7
McDONALD Steven Hughes and Anthony Raschilla each had two hits and two RBIs and Tom John had three hits for McDonald (4-2, 3-1 Inter Tri-County League Tier Two). Nick Gatta and Nick Accordino also had two hits and Mike Thomas added two RBIs. For Western Reserve (4-2, 2-2), Dave Snowden had two hits, including a homer, and three RBIs. Brandon Moherman and Ryan Lude each added two hits.

LEETONIA A two-run walkoff homer in the seventh inning by Jon Williams ended the ITCL Tier Two game. Preceding Williams' blast over the left field fence on the first pitch to him, Ryan Gruszecki drew a two-out walk. Williams was also the winning pitcher with a six-hitter. Gruszecki had two hits and two RBIs, Williams had two RBIs and Josh Thompson also had two hits for Leetonia (2-3, 2-2 ITCL Tier Two).
East Palestine 11, South Range 1
EAST PALESTINE Jake Harvey had three hits and three RBIs and Wes Best added a single and two RBIs for the Bulldogs (6-0, 3-0 ITCL Tier One).
Crestview 6, Lisbon 3
LISBON Tim Ridzon, Duwey Buhecker and Nick Wylie each had a hit and two RBIs for Crestview, while Cory Hill struck out seven in 5 1/3 innings to get his first win. Dana Rose had two hits for Lisbon.
Jackson-Milton 15-12, Wellsville 13-1
WELLSVILLE Nick Serb smacked a two-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give Jackson-Milton (4-3, 2-2) the win in a ITCL contest that was continued from Monday. Serb, who also pitched the first 6 2/3 innings, had two hits and drove in four runs, while Ryan Prowson and Mike Nagy also had two hits. Prowson also homered. Nagy pitched the eighth inning and got the win. In the second game Nagy pitched a five-hitter and also homered and drove in three runs, while Matt Shields went 3-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs. Rob Huston also had three hits with a double and triple.
Lakeview 7, Jefferson 6
JEFFERSON Jeff Musick singled home Dave DeJacimo with the winning run in the top of the seventh inning for Lakeview (1-6). Eric Pirtz belted two doubles and Mark Novotny went 3-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI to lead the Bulldogs. J.J. Mihoci and Dustin Volanski had two hits each for Jefferson.
West Branch 8, Alliance 6
BELOIT Evan Campbell homered and drove in two runs and Shawn Linder added two hits and an RBI for West Branch (6-1, 3-1 Northeastern Buckeye Conference). Ryan Nordquest tripled for Alliance (5-1, 3-1).
Akron Springfield 6, Southeast 5
AKRON Greg Lemley homered and drove in three runs for Southeast (2-3, 0-2 Portage Trail Conference). Pat Abrams had two singles for Springfield (4-1, 2-0).
