Poland 1, Struthers 0

POLAND — Liz Maher pitched a nine-inning no-hitter, striking out four, as Poland edged Struthers in a Metro Athletic Conference game. Ashley Conger hit a one-out single in the top of the ninth, then advanced to second and third on wild pitches before scoring on an error as the Bulldogs (3-0, 2-0) stayed unbeaten. Ashley Baron had 10 strikeouts in pitching a six-hitter for Struthers.

Boardman 3, Fitch 1

AUSTINTOWN — Kelsey Ford pitched a three-hitter with 10 strikeouts and one walk for Boardman (4-1, 1-0 Federal League). Shannon Morrow singled and doubled, Makala Gasparek had two hits and Katie Hawkins had an RBI double. Danielle Crum doubled for Fitch (2-3, 0-1).

Canfield 16, Massillon 0

CANFIELD — Tricia Bettura (2-0) struck out seven in a five-inning perfect game for the Cardinals (3-0), who compiled 15 hits.

Ursuline 12, Niles 1

NILES — Jessica Yarab had three hits and five RBIs, Kelsey Price had three singles, Miranda Carkido had a triple and double and Angelina Joseph and Mary Hendricks had two singles each for Ursuline (5-0). Freshman Casey Lower (5-0) struck out nine. Melyssa Spowart doubled for Niles.

Western Reserve 1, McDonald 0

McDONALD — Chelsea Korda doubled home McKenzie Mowery for the game-winning run in the top of the seventh inning as Reserve handed McDonald its first loss in an Inter Tri-County League Tier Two game. Elizabeth Srock pitched a two-hitter for Western Reserve (2-6, 2-2), while McDonald's (5-1, 3-1) Lauren Walls allowed four hits.

Mineral Ridge 11, Columbiana 6

MINERAL RIDGE — January Golden had three hits and scored two runs, Melanie Sparks had three hits, including a double, and three RBIs, Brooke Brdek had three hits and Heather Reinhart had three RBIs for Mineral Ridge in an ITCL Tier One game. Stephanie Case had two hits and two RBIs for Columbiana (2-4, 0-4).

Sebring 10, Southern 0

SEBRING — Bri Jones pitched a five-inning no-hitter for Sebring (2-5, 2-2 ITCL). Chelsea Neeb had two hits and Jones added a double. Mariah Allcorn and Olivia Gough also doubled for Sebring.

Lowellville 9, Leetonia 5

LOWELLVILLE — Kristen Pallozzi doubled three times while Cori Pavlicko added a pair of two-base hits for the Rockets (4-1, 3-1 ITCL Tier Two). The Bears were held to three hits, one a double by Hailey Blosser.

Jackson-Milton 25, Wellsville 0

WELLSVILLE — Carrie Fiol and Kat Keck homered to spark a 22-hit attack. Dez Cavanaugh, Katilyn Pirko and Kara Conrad added triples while Jessica Balent had two doubles and Kortney Gherardi had another for Jackson-Milton (3-3, 3-1 ITCL).

Girard 16, Badger 6

GIRARD — Emily Smerchansky had three hits and scored twice, Missy Weitzman had two hits and three RBIs, Katie Noda had two hits and two RBIs and Kassi Simeon had two hits, including a double, and two RBIs for Girard (1-5). For Badger (0-4), Amanda Peska had two hits and RBI.
