Gitlitz came up with a game-high 14 tackles to lead the Presidents past the Thiel. He also intercepted a pass and returned it 27 yards in the final quarter to set up W&J's final tally. Senior QB Bobby Swallow (West Branch) completed 18 of 30 passes for 230 yards and three TDs to also lead the Presidents. However, Swallow's streak of 163 regular-season pass attempts without being intercepted was broken in the third quarter. In Westminster's loss to Thomas More. Sophomore QB Kevin Franz was 19-for-27 passing for 116 yards and one interception, while sophomore TB Nick McKolosky rushed for 76 yards in 19 carries. Freshman LB Adam Falkowski led the Titans' defense in his first career start by making 11 tackles. Freshman PK Dustin Zink of Thomas More had a perfect day kicking with 4-for-4 in extra points and 2-for-2 in field goal kicking, and was named PAC Special Teams Player of the Week.

MUC's defense recorded its second shutout of the season and limited ONU's offense to minus nine yards the third time this season that the Purple Raiders held opponents to negative yardage. DL Joseph Millings had a career-best three sacks and two forced fumbles to lead the MUC defense, while DL James Herbert and DB Daryl Ely each forced a fumble and S Craig Nickoli and DL Caleb Jones each recovered a fumble. Also, Chris Kappas blocked a punt and S Matt Kostelnik had his ninth career interception.

Junior QB Trevor Henderson completed 15 of 30 passes for 168 yards and one TD and one interception to lead the Terriers' win. He also rushed for 39 yards on nine carries and a TD. Freshman Curtis Williams led the Hiram running attack with 67 yards on 11 touches while Glenn Campbell had eight catches for 115 yards and a TD. Sophomore DB Nick Haigh recorded a game-high 10 tackles in his first start of the season. Meanwhile, Wooster won when RB Dustin Sheppard scored on a 34-yard run up the middle with just under 3:00 left. Sheppard rushed for 116 yards in 20 carries and now has 2,052 career yards. He is the 10th Wooster ball carrier in school history to reach 2,000 career rushing yards.

The Wolverines hold a 14-9 advantage in the series, although the Tomcats have won the last three years. Sophomore QB Andrew DiDonato of Grove City was named PAC Offensive Player of the Week in the win over Bethany. He accounted for more than 267 yards of total offense, completing 13 of 21 passes for 190 yards and one TD; and rushing for 77 yards in 19 carries and one TD. In Thiel's loss to W&J, Marc LaScola (Wellsvilel) had a good game in his first start at QB. LaScola completed 16 of 38 passes for 113 yards and rushed for a game-high 84 yards in 19 carries and one TD.

Waynesburg scored 24 points in the opening quarter that were highlighted by the outstanding defensive play of Ryan Krull, a sophomore S. Krull came up with two interceptions, returning one for a TD, and also blocked a punt. Freshman RB Robert Heller rushed for 130 yards in 20 attempts and three TDs. Heller became only the fifth player in Waynesburg history to rush for 1,000 yards in one season. Bethany was the the victim of Grove City's 21 unanswered points that broke a 15-15 tie. RB Marcus Santini rushed for 151 yards in 21 carries and one TD and conversion run to key the Bison, while QB Milton Joyner passed for 193 yards. Matt Cluse had five receptions for 95 yards.

However, Walsh's defense has been playing well by allowing only 53 points in five games. The Cavaliers' Rob Lash leads the MSFA in kick-return average at 25.3. Malone's romp over Taylor was led by QB Billy Bob Orsagh, who passed for 380 yards and two TDs. WR Derek Deardorff caught nine passes for 162 yards and two TDs. Senior QB Nate Crookshank completed 18 of 33 passes for 220 yards and one TD with one interception to also lead Slippery Rock, while sophomore WR Terry Grossetti had eight catches for 108 yards both career-high totals. Clarion lost to Shippensburg last Saturday, 42-23. QB Gino Rometo completed 17 of 26 passes for 226 yards and 1 TD for Clarion, while Alfonso Hoggard and Herb Carraway each caught seven passes for 84 and 53 yards, respectively.

Allegheny's defense had three players with double-figure tackles, led by Mateo Villa and Andy Toner with 11 tackles each and Ross Simcoe with 10. In Kenyon's win over Hiram, sophomore QB Mike Hermanson, starting in his first game of the season for the Lords, completed 12 of 19 passes for 269 yards and two touchdowns to lead the way.
