Edinboro 87, Slippery Rock 59

EDINBORO, Pa. — Daren Tielsch scored 25 points as Edinboro improved to 2-0 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference West. Devon Knight added 15 points for the Scots (11-5), who led 46-32 at halftime by shooting 54 percent (20-of-37) from the field. Joseph Jones scored 12 points, while Ryan McLemore had 10 points and nine rebounds. Curtis Ingram (Mooney) also scored 10 points. Glenn Reepmeyer continued his hot hand, scoring 29 points and adding eight rebounds. Reepmeyer was named PSAC West player of the week. Jamar Scales added 10 points for The Rock (4-13, 1-1).

Bethany 102, Waynesburg 80

WAYNESBURG, Pa. — Bethany extended its Presidents' Athletic Conference winning streak to 29 games, as James Wallace scored 26 points. Brody Jackson and Ryan Besancon added 15 apiece, while Chris Stephens finished with 14 and Marc Palermo (Ursuline) 12. Marcus Adams had eight assists and Palermo had seven for the Bison (12-4, 5-0). Waynesburg (7-7, 1-4) was led by Shawn Coleman with 19 points and Jered Gamble with 16.

Wooster 111, Hiram 57

HIRAM — Six players scored in double figures, led by James Cooper with 21, for Wooster (14-2, 7-0 North Coast Athletic Conference). Devin Fulk added 14 points for the Scots, while Marty Bidwell had 12. Hiram (4-12, 3-4) was led by Michael McDevitt with 15 points, Brandon Pool with 11 and Ian Pfouts with eight assists.

Allegheny 93, Oberlin 68

MEADVILLE, Pa. — Jimmy Savage had a game-high 21 points to lead Allegheny (7-8, 3-4 NCAC). Ryan Hollihan added 11 points and six rebounds, and Bill Babe scored 10. Oberlin (3-13, 2-5) was led by Mike Loll with 14 points and Quinton Spencer with 13. The Gators led 47-43 at halftime.

John Carroll 83, Mount Union 72

ALLIANCE — Mount Union led 39-32 at halftime and 50-34 with just under 18 minutes remaining in the game before John Carroll went on an 18-0 run from the 5:38 mark to just under a minute to play. Stu Anglum scored 19 points for the Purple Raiders (8-8, 3-6 Ohio Athletic Conference), while Sam King added 12 and Nat Sefscik 10. Brandon Mimes led John Carroll (10-6, 6-3) with 25 points and 16 rebounds.

Grove City 101, Westminster 91

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. — Grove City (8-8, 1-3 PAC) overcame a seven-point halftime deficit to stun the Titans. The Wolverines trailed 49-42 at the intermission, then shot 76.2 percent from the field (16-of-21) in the second half. Ryan Gibson scored 24 points to lead Grove City, while Ryan Gerber added 23. Shawn Carr finished with 15, while Craig Hallman had 12 and Clay Hurley 10. Gibson also had 11 assists and Hallman added 10 rebounds. Westminster (10-6, 3-1) was led by Greg Rosatelli's 19 points and seven assists. Chauncey Whitlow (Warren Harding) added 18 points, while Steve Bielich scored 14, Craig Hannon 12 and Nick Adams 11.

Saint Vincent 72, Thiel 55

GREENVILLE, Pa. — Billy Bains scored 19 points and Javille Brooks added 14 points and nine rebounds for Saint Vincent (9-6). Marc Duncan had 10 points for Saint Vincent, which led 36-26 at halftime. For Thiel (5-9), Cory Chafee had 16 points, Joe Herrmann had 14, and Greg Hawes had five rebounds.

Caryn Glassbrenner added 17 points and six rebounds for Saint Vincent (4-9), while Janelle Reed had 16 points and four assists. Maura Wahl finished with 10 points, as Saint Vincent took a 45-36 lead at halftime. Thiel (6-9) was led by Nicole Valentino (Sharon) and Amber Bodrick (Mooney), who scored 19 points. Bodrick also had 10 rebounds. Fontella Jones (Farrell) finished with 18 points and four assists, and Jena Cook had 10 points.

WAYNESBURG, Pa. — Katie Lewandowski scored a career-high 32 points, including seven in overtime, to lead Waynesburg (7-8, 2-3 Presidents' Athletic Conference). Johnna Deco added 15 points, and Jeannette Wonsettler had 13 points and 10 rebounds. Bethany (6-9, 2-3) was led by Courtney Irwin's 20 points and she added 11 rebounds, while Mandi Swiger had 18 points and 14 rebounds. Lisa Mitchell scored 15 points.

Ohio Wesleyan 96, Hiram 54

HIRAM — Rachel Messaros scored 29 points for Ohio Wesleyan (9-7, 4-3 NCAC). Steffi Graf (Poland) added 25 for the Bishops, while Lindsey Macklin had 14 points and 13 rebounds. Hiram (5-10, 1-6) was led by Cassie Bedard, who had 17 points and five rebounds.

Oberlin (5-9, 1-6) was led by Roneisha Kinney with 14 points and Alyssa Clark with 11.

Amanda Nero (Lowellville) had eight points and sank the final two free throws to clinch the win. Edinboro (8-8, 0-2) was led by Kelly Calderone with 15 points, Samantha Reimer with 13, Kelsey Conklin with 11 and Rachel Johnson with 10.

Mount Union 63, John Carroll 61

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS — Ashley Ross and Ellie Geiger (West Branch) each made a free throw in the final two minutes as Mount Union (8-8, 4-5) prevailed in the OAC contest. Lauren Friedrich scored 19 points for the Purple Raiders, while Alicia Williams added 13. Ross scored 11 and Haley Drayer had 10, and Freidrich and Ross each had eight rebounds. John Carroll (5-11, 2-7) was led by Jessica Gibbons' 13 points.

Westminster 71, Grove City 50

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. — Desiree Sterling (Newton Falls) poured in 20 points to lead the Titans (11-4, 3-1) in a PAC game. Emilee Ackerman added 18 points for Westminster, while Gina Brunetti (Mooney) scored 12. Terese Marszalek finished with eight points and eight rebounds and Rachel Eaton had five assists. Grove City (4-11, 1-3) was led by Rachel McCoy with 14 points, and Elyse Bogusz with 11.
