Series history: Tied 29-29-2 although Mount Union is 20-0-1 in the last 21 meetings.
Scouting report: Mount Union is coming off a 71-14 win over Otterbein last week. The Raiders have scored 134 points in two games, the best start in school history. Muskingum lost to Ohio Northern last week, 36-7. Mount Union QB Mike Jorris has completed 28-of-40 passes for 593 yards and 10 TDs. The top receivers are Ryan McClain with seven catches for 80 yards and one TD, and Jack Murray with six receptions for 103 yards and two TDs. LB Tony Deriggi leads the MUC defense with 7.5 hits while S Matt Kostelnik has 5.5 hits.

Scouting report: Westminster lost to Carnegie Mellon last week, 33-6, giving up 26 unanswered points before halftime. Adrian defeated Bluffton, 17-6, last week. Adrian was runner-up up in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association last year with an 8-2 record and returned 15 starters this year. Westminster's offense sputtered against Carnegie Mellon. Freshman RB Jason Nagy ran the ball for a team-high 43 yards on eight carries while reserve freshman QB Kevin Franz also had 41 yards on four attempts, including the team's lone score.

Scouting report: Grove City was edged by Thomas More last week, 21-20, in the Wolverines' PAC opener, while Waynesburg dropped a 20-10 decision to Shenandoah. Grove City QB Andrew DiDonato passed for 188 yards (15-for-24), while Stephen Mercer caught five passes for 71 yards both career highs including one for a TD, and he ran for a score. Justin Fowler blocked an extra point for the second straight week for the Wolverines, and he has three blocks for the season. RB Ryan Abels of Waynesburg is just 75 yards shy from surpassing the school record for career rushing yards. Rick Shepas (Cardinal Mooney High and Youngstown State) is the Waynesburg coach.

Scouting report: Thiel lost to Albion last week, 24-20, after leading 20-10 entering the final quarter; while Thomas More edged Grove City, 21-20. Junior TB Steve Minton rushed for 102 yards in 20 carries and two TDs while senior QB Billy Blankenship was 18-for-34 for 176 yards and one score. Junior WR Brett Helman had seven catches for 76 yards . Senior DL Logan Malie led the Tomcats' defense with eight tackles and a pair of sacks, while Junior DE Chris Lorber had seven tackles, two for losses. Senior OLB Chris Hlinka (Chaney High), in his first season as a starter for Thiel, is averaging 8.3 stops per game. Sophomore LB Brad Steinmetz of Thomas More had a team-high 14 tackles, including 2.5 for losses, and also blocked a field goal and extra-point attempt in the Saints' win over Grove City, and was named PAC defensive player of the week.

Scouting report: Walsh rolled past Virginia Tech last week, 38-0, while Webber defeated past Campbellsville (Ky.), 36-0. Walsh is ranked No. 6 in NAIA, No. 5 in Victory Sports Network and No. 7 in Hansen Gazette. Junior Antwain Reine of Walsh leads the Mid-States Football Association in rushing with a 116.3 per game average. Freshman Jeff Tallman has also scored three touchdowns for the Cavaliers. Walsh has outscored its opponents, 108-26, and has allowed only 13 second half points and three touchdowns.

Series history: Slippery Rock leads, 4-0
Scouting report: Slippery Rock rolled past Mansfield last week, 46-0, while Kutztown lost to Shippensburg, 42-27. QB Nate Crookshank and Paul Fevers combined to set a school record for the longest pass completion of 95 yards that went for a TD in Slippery Rock's win last week. Crookshank leads the PSAC in pass efficiency (189.6), and is No. 2 in yards passing (250.3) and total offense (272.3) per game. On defense, Cory Lacek leads the PSAC in QB sacks (5) and tackles for losses (9).
