GROVE CITY, Pa. — Grove City led wire-to-wire but still had to survive an errant last-second shot from Saint Vincent's Marc Duncan. Duncan recorded a steal with three seconds left in the backcourt and shot an off-balance jumper in the lane with one second left. Ryan Gerber led Grove City (6-8) with a game-high 15 points while junior guard Shawn Carr added 12. Ryan Gibson scored 11. Billy Bains led the Bearcats with 14 points while Roscoe Biggers scored 10.

Thomas More 59, Thiel 45

CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. — Thomas More built a 10-point lead less than 10 minutes into the first half and Thiel never recovered. Brandon Mirizio led the Tomcats with 19 points while Cory Chafee added 16. Jeremy Abell led Thomas More with 14 points.

Bloomsburg 62, Slippery Rock 60

BLOOMSBURG, Pa. — Slippery Rock (4-11) rallied from a 15-point deficit in the final 12 minutes but fell just short. Erroll Robinson led The Rock with 15 points and eight rebounds, while Joseph Vines added 14 points. Glenn Reepmeyer finished with 12 points and seven rebounds. Bloomsburg (7-5) was led by Matt Jefferson's 16 points and 11 from Jaren Burdine.

Bethany 82, Washington & Jefferson 73

BETHANY, W.Va. — Chris Stephens had 16 points and eight rebounds as Bethany held off a furious rally. The Bison (11-4, 4-0) have won 28 straight PAC games. Nate Stoner added 14 points for the Biston, while Marcus Adams and Joe Testa scored 10 each. Brandon Studer led W&J (4-11, 1-2) with 23 points, while Josip Lucic-Jozak added 19 points and eight rebounds.

Wittenberg 72, Hiram 50

HIRAM — Dane Borchers poured in 27 points and added 11 rebounds, both game-highs, to lead Wittenberg (13-2, 5-1 NCAC). Jack Hemenway added 15 points, eight rebounds for four assists. Hiram (4-11, 3-3) was led by Michael McDevitt with 14 points and seven rebounds, and Ian McGuire with 11 points and eight rebounds.

Denison 87, Allegheny 67

GRANVILLE — Allegheny was led by George Raftis, who scored 12 points, while Jimmy Savage and Ryan Hollihan each added 10, but the Gators fell behind by as many as 23 points in the second half. Denison (3-12, 2-4 NCAC) led 38-24 at halftime. The Big Red were paced by five players in double figures. Dan Hodgkinson scored 16, Shea McMahon added 14, Dan Izzo had 13, Karlin Tichenor 11 and Chris Luther 10.

WOMEN

Grove City 74, Saint Vincent 72

GROVE CITY, Pa. — Rachel McCoy poured in a season-high 24 points while Shannon Overdorff added 22 points for Grove City. Grove City took the lead for good over the final minute with a 6-0 spurt. McCoy tallied a layup and a pair of free throws while Overdorff also hit two free throws, giving Grove City a 74-69 lead with seven seconds left. Saint Vincent's Laura Klimchock hit a 3 with one second left but Grove City successfully inbounded the ball, ending the game. Klimchock led all scorers with 31 points.

Thomas More 76, Thiel 53

CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. — Amber Bodrick (Mooney) had 18 points and 10 rebounds for Thiel (6-8, 1-3 PAC). Nicole Valentino (Sharon) added 13 points. Megan Wood led Thomas More (13-2, 3-2) with 18 points. Amanda Link and Brooke Warner scored 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Slippery Rock 67, Bloomsburg 52

BLOOMSBURG, Pa. — Nijha McNeely led The Rock (6-8) with 14 points and eight rebounds, while Amanda Nero (Lowellville) added 11 points. Colleen Kegerreis had 16 points and 10 rebounds for Bloomsburg (5-9), while Gabe Miskinis added 13.

Washington & Jefferson 70, Bethany 51

BETHANY, W.Va. — The Bison never recovered from a slow offensive start, as they missed their first 13 shots and didn't score until 11:10 remaining in the first half. Renee and Courtney Irwin scored 11 points each for Bethany (5-8, 2-2 PAC). Maggie Gibson scored 17 points and had 11 rebounds for W&J (9-6, 2-1), while Kaleigh Bangor had 15 points, all on 3-pointers.

Mount Union 80, Otterbein 77

ALLIANCE — Haley Drayer scored a career-high 16 points as Mount Union snapped a nine-game losing streak against Otterbein. Alicia Williams led the Purple Raiders (7-8, 3-5 OAC) with 22 points and 13 rebounds, and Ashley Ross had 14 rebounds. Lauren Friedrich added 14 points and Meghan Simons scored 12. Laura Roth had 22 points for Otterbein (8-7, 4-4).

GRANVILLE — Allegheny was held to 26 percent shooting (16-of 61) in a NCAC showdown. Brittany Bell led the Gators (10-4, 4-2) with 10 points off the bench and Stephanie Wolf added eight rebounds. Denison (13-3, 7-0) was led by Carolyn Simpson with 14 points and Ellen O'Brien with 10.
