Cynthia M. “Cindy” Athya, 54

WARREN – Cynthia M. “Cindy” Athya, 54, passed away at 4:50 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Cindy was born Nov. 11, 1954 in Warren, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Sekula) Zabrucky. Cindy resided in Warren until 1977 and then moved to Jacksonville, Fla. and remained there until moving back to area in 1997.

Cindy was a 1972 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and received a bachelors degree in mathematical science. Cindy was employed as a computer programmer in Florida.

Cindy was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church and enjoyed family, friends, especially her friends in Warren, Atlanta and Florida, rescued animals and reading.

Cindy is survived by her faithful and loving husband, Jim Athya, whom she married Oct. 19, 1997; her father-in-law, Howard G. Athya of Warren; her godchildren, Natalie Antonelli, Tracy McElfresh and Alexandra Outlaw; an uncle; two aunts; cousins; and by a host of friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Josephine Athya.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lane Funeral Home, Roberts Clark Chapel, where a prayer service will be said at 8 p.m.

A funeral Liturgy will be said at 10 a.m. Dec. 4, 2008, at Sts. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, preceded by closing prayers to be recited at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at All Souls Cemetery.

Marguerite S. Avery, 78

CANFIELD – Private services were held for Marguerite S. Avery, 78, who died Sunday evening at Forum Health.

She was born June 9, 1930 in Youngstown, a daughter of Donald and Agnes Hogan Cook.

Marguerite had worked for General Electric for 29 years as a sealer.

She leaves a daughter, Kathleen (Fred) Wilson of Austintown; a brother, Donald Cook of Mesa, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Katie, Ryan and Matthew; and a great-granddaughter, Mia.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Rita Mae Cook.

Arrangements are being handled by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.



Noreen Buday, 77

YOUNGSTOWN – Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 4, at 10 a.m. at the Kubina Yuhasz Funeral Home, 5925 Market St., and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Dominic Church for Noreen Buday, 77, who passed away early Saturday morning at the Meridian Arms Living Center.

Mrs. Buday was born in Youngstown on July 27, 1931, a daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Peroni Ferguson.

Noreen graduated from Wilson High School in 1949. She was employed by the Mahoning County senior meal service program when it was under the administration of DACAS, and served as an assistant site manager at the St. Dominic Church site. She also worked at the Zion Lutheran Church and the Bethel Lutheran Church sites. She retired from the program in 2006.

An avid reader, Noreen also enjoyed traveling, often visiting her children. Several years ago she traveled to Japan. When she was younger, both she and her husband bowled for a number of area bowling leagues.

Noreen is survived by eight sons, Frank (Debi) Buday of Swansboro, N.C., Joseph (Bev) Buday of Albuquerque, N.M., John (Mickey) Buday, also of Albuquerque, Tony (Kathy) Buday of Cleveland, Steve (Hiromi) Buday of Irvine, Calif., Chris (Tammy) Buday of Youngstown, Paul (Patty) Buday of Petersburgh, Ohio, and Mark (Betty) Buday of Largo, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Ferguson of Citrus Heights, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, Frank Buday, whom she married May 5, 1951 and who died June 2, 2002, Noreen was preceded in death by three brothers, Alvin, Clem, and Warner Ferguson and two sisters, Ida Riley and Josephine Bunger.

Edna A. Curcian, 87

CAMPBELL – Private funeral services were held at the Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home, for Edna A. Curcian, 87, who entered into rest early Friday at her home.

She was born Jan. 27, 1921 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Nick and Vilma (Canahai) Curcian.

She was a graduate of East High School, and had been employed in the trimming department at Republic Rubber.

Edna will be sadly missed by the special people in her life, especially her nieces, Camille Zawacki of Canfield and Delores Angel of Santa Ana, Calif.; and her three great-nieces and great-nephew, Robbie, Dorrine and Paige Angel, all of California.

Besides her parents, Edna was preceded in death by two sisters, Irene Shaffer and Victoria Zawacki; and a brother, Nick Curcon.

George W. Ondrey, 87

STRUTHERS – Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers for George W. Ondrey, 87, who died Saturday morning in Forum Health Northside Medical Center.

George was born October 24, 1921 in Struthers, a son of John and Mary Balun Ondrey and was a lifelong area resident.

He was a member of Infant Jesus of Prague Byzantine Catholic Church in Boardman and had worked at Republic Steel for 37 years, retiring in 1983.

Besides his wife, the former Sophie Kuna, whom he married May 13, 1950, he leaves two daughters, Debra (William) Flaugh and Sandra (Robert) Semko, both of Beaver Township; two granddaughters, Samantha and Annie; one step-grandson, Christopher.

Two brothers, Frank and John Ondrey and four sisters, Mary Renovick, Betty Macek, Margaret Opsitnik and infant, Dorothy are deceased.

Debbie L. Howe, 54

ELLSWORTH – Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Ellsworth Presbyterian Church for Debbie L. Howe, 54, who died Sunday morning at Forum Health Northside Medical Center.

Debbie was born Dec. 12, 1953 in Salem, the daughter of Merle and Evelyn (Ford) Pelliccioni and was a lifelong area resident.

Debbie was an active member of the Ellsworth Presbyterian Church, where she was an elder, former choir director and choir member, Sunday school teacher, member of King’s Daughters and for many years helped serve breakfast at the monthly Men’s Prayer Breakfast.

She graduated from Western Reserve High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University. While attending YSU, she played oboe in the band and sang in the Dana Chorale.

Debbie retired in January of 2005 from Office Max in Cleveland, where she worked in accounts payable as lead manager.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey, whom she married May 16, 1998; daughter, Nicole R.; son, John P. Clark; grandchildren, Alex and Evelynn; brothers, Gary and Daren Pelliccioni; and sister, Joyce Baginski.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Earl and Rick.

William A. Jensen Sr., 83

NILES – William A. Jensen Sr., 83, died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital emergency room.

He was born in Niles on May 27, 1925, the son of Mandus and Faye Wilson Jensen.

A lifelong Niles resident, “Bill” attended Niles McKinley High School and graduated from University School in Cleveland in 1943. He went on to study at Case Western Reserve, where he was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity. Interrupting his college education, Bill enlisted in the U.S. Army, was stationed in Italy and attained the rank of sergeant.

After his military service, he came back to Niles and graduated from Youngstown State University with honors, while working for the family business, Jensen Hardware. He joined Butler Wick Co. in Warren as a broker and retired in 1992 as senior vice president after 26 years of service.

Bill was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Niles, the Niles Mahoning Lodge 794 F & AM, the Niles Rotary Club and the Niles Chamber of Commerce. He also served his community as a member of the McKinley Memorial and the McKinley Library boards of trustees, as well as on the board of directors for Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

He loved playing golf and had a great love for his dogs, Scamp, Lady and Blue.

Bill is survived by his wife, the former Martha Brandt, whom he married on Aug. 21, 1948; a son, Williams A. Jensen Jr. of Niles; a daughter, Heidi (Tim) Wulf of Edina, Minn.; two grandchildren, Abby and Christian Wulf; and his dear friend, Sue Greenhill.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008, at 3 p.m. with the Rev. David MacDonald officiating, at the Holloway-Williams Funeral Home, 611 Robbins Ave. in Niles.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Edna M. Kirkpatrick, 85

AUSTINTOWN – There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Lake Park Cemetery chapel for Edna M. Kirkpatrick, 85, who died Sunday, Nov. 30.

Mrs. Kirkpatrick was born Nov. 30, 1923, in Youngstown, a daughter of Leo and Gertrude Kennedy Dahman.

She attended South High School and retired as a personnel director for Murphy Mart and Aims Department Stores.

Her husband, Charles W. Kirkpatrick, whom she married in June of 1945, died Sept. 30, 1957.

She leaves two daughters, Lynda (Jeff) Barr of Kannapolis, N.C. and Patty (Sean) Durina of Austintown; two sons, Kenneth (Jan) Kirkpatrick of Cleveland and Robert (Joyce) Kirkpatrick of Girard; 11 grandchildren, Rick Barnes, Meredith Kirkpatrick, Arron Kirkpatrick, Kaila Kirkpatrick, Jared Kirkpatrick, Kellie Kirkpatrick, Robert Kirkpatrick, Krista Kirkpatrick, Ryan Kirkpatrick, Kaitlyn Durina and Emily Durina; and three great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Charles W. Kirkpatrick Jr.; a grandson, James Barnes; two sisters, Leona Redman and Gertrude Patterson; and three brothers, Leo Dahman, Merle Dahman and William Dahman.

Noah David Marker, Infant

DEERFIELD – Noah David Marker, infant, who lived for one hour and 33 minutes, died at 1:15 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

He was born Sunday at 11:42 a.m., the son of Thomas Lee Marker and Elizabeth Anne Felger.

Besides his parents both of Deerfield, he is survived by his grandparents, Salley A. Kobel of Deerfield, David A. Felger of Oahu, Hawaii, Thomas L. Marker of Deerfield and Marilyn McIe of Deerfield; great-grandparents, Donald and Betty Young of Cortland and Doris Everson of Deerfield; and several aunts and uncles.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

There will be no calling hours and cremation will take place.

Arrangements are being handled by the Shafer-Winans Funeral Chapel in Cortland.




Virginia McGregor, 91

MINERAL RIDGE – Virginia McGregor, 91, passed away Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at Briarfield at the Ridge.

Virginia was born Oct. 11, 1917, to the late Carl and Betsy Evans Stark in Weathersfield Township.

She worked for U.S. Steel in McDonald as a secretary and for the Girard Free Library.

Virginia was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, Robert McGregor of Hillsboro, Ore. and a brother, Donald Stark of Loganville, Ga.,

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph B. McGregor, whom she married Aug. 16, 1952 and died Nov. 17, 1969; and two brothers, Kenneth and Evan McGregor.

Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Blackstone Funeral Home, where visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Internment will follow at Welsh Hill Cemetery.


Dane Benjamin Nelson, 35

CHAGRIN FALLS – Dane Benjamin Nelson, 35, died Nov. 30, 2008.

He was the beloved husband of Michele (Hull); cherished father of Luke and Ethan; loving son of Joyce and Dennis Seyer and Hedy and Eric Hull; brother of Nathan (Dana); brother-in-law of Eric Hull, Dawn Hull, Teri (Phil) Wilson and Jeri (Sara) Hull; and stepbrother of Lance (Shannon) Seyer and Shannon Seyer.

Family will visit with friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at the Holy Angels Church, 18205 Chillicothe Road in Bainbridge Township, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday.

Interment will be held at St. Anthony Cemetery in Columbus Grove.

Also, family will visit with friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hartman Sons Funeral Home, 10879 St. Rt. 12 West in Columbus Grove, prior to graveside services at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5.

James V. O’Connor, 80

YOUNGSTOWN - James V. O’Connor, 80, of the city’s west side, passed away late Sunday morning, Nov. 30, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Health Center.

James was born Nov. 19, 1928 in Youngstown, a son of the late James J. and Ottilia Nadolney O’Connor, was a lifelong area resident and graduate of Ursuline High School.

Mr. O’Connor served for four years in the U.S. Navy during WWII and its aftermath, and was employed with Conrail for 37 years, retiring as a yard conductor in 1987.

Jim was an active man. He was a member of St. Maron Church, a member of the Salem Senior Citizens, was a life-member of AmVets Post No. 44, and was a member of the CWV John J. Buckley Post No. 1292. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 4471 in Poland, and was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon in North Jackson.

Mr. O’Connor leaves his daughter, Eileen (Steve) Wegendt of Youngstown; two brothers, Thomas (Florence) O’Connor of Youngstown and Jerome (Diane) O’Connor of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; a sister, Patricia (Robert) Hughes of Youngstown; and five grandchildren, Sister Christina of the Daughters of St. Paul, Stephen, Daniel, Kevin, and Amanda.

Jim will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

His wife, Angeline M. Kusmack O’Connor, whom he married in 1952, passed away Jan. 4, 2006. Two sons, James and John, are also deceased.

Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 3, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road in Youngstown, where an incense service will take place at 6:30 p.m.

Jessica Caroline Porcase, 20

POLAND – Jessica Caroline Porcase, 20, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Nov. 28, from a Hemopericardium.

“Jessie” was born in Youngstown on Nov. 9, 1988 to Phillip Porcase and Christa Kopp. She spent her childhood growing up in New Middletown, and moved to Poland in Junior High.

Jessie graduated from Poland Seminary High School. While at Poland, “Jess” was a great varsity athlete who lettered in track as well as basketball. Her sophomore year she was honored in track with “Rookie of the Year.” Jess also competed in track at the state level and was on the MAC 1st Team.

She worked at Inner Circle Pizza while attending YSU, where she was on the Dean’s List and a second year student. All who knew Jessie, loved her. Her infectious smile and big blue eyes lit up every room she entered. Jessie’s life, however short, was not wasted. She lived every day to the fullest, surrounding herself with family, friends, and co-workers.

Jess was preceded in death by her grandfather, Anthony Porcase of Youngstown and her best friend, Marissa “Sis” Plakosh. We are certain Maris and Jess are together again.

Jessie leaves behind her mom, Christa Kopp and her fiance, David Weaver, with whom she made her home, along with her younger sister, Kristina “Boo”; her father, of Plain City, Phillip Porcase, and his fiancée, Lisa Lonardo; and an older sister, Brittany Porcase and a brother, Philly Porcase, both of Plain City. She will be missed by her grandparents, Ken and Alice Kopp of Struthers and Phyllis Porcase of Youngstown. Jess leaves numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Not a phone call was ended or a door was shut without us saying “I love you” to which she would respond “I love you more!”

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at the funeral home.

Miles T. Rodgers, 85

HUBBARD – Miles T. Rodgers, 85, formerly of Medical Center Road in Chicora, Pa. died Monday morning, Dec. 1, 2008, at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring.

He was born July 20, 1923 in Gum Town, Armstrong County, the son of Ernest and Aida Frances Claypoole Rodgers.

Mr. Rodgers grew up in the Butler area. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. Mr. Rodgers piloted a landing craft which landed soldiers on the beach at Normandy.

He was a member of the Karns City United Methodist Church. He was employed for many years by Isaly Dairy Company, having worked at as a district supervisor in northeast Ohio. Mr. Rodgers was a franchisee owner/operator of the Donut House in Warren and Liberty and was a Karamel Korn franchisee owner/operator in Southern Park Mall, Eastwood Mall, and Beaver Valley Mall.

Mr. Rodgers was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Campbell Rodgers, on Feb. 15, 2006. He and Mrs. Rodgers were married in Chicora on Oct. 16, 1946.

Mr. Rodgers was an avid deer hunter and an excellent wood worker. He had been a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and participated in their honor guard for many funerals.

Mr. and Mrs. Rodgers raised their family in Hubbard. Surviving is a daughter, Doris Reingrover and her husband, Ed, of Alta Loma, Calif.; three sons survive, Ted Rodgers and his wife, Valerie, of Atwater, Dale Rodgers and his wife, Joy, of Mentor, and Jay Rodgers and his wife, Shirley, of Plain City; 12 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren; two brothers survive, Robert Rodgers of East Butler and Grant Rodgers and his wife, Shirley, of Saxonburg, Pa.; a sister survives, Annabelle Crissman of Kittanning, Pa.; and a number of brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Rodgers was preceded in death by a number of brothers and sisters.

The family is comforted to know that on the first day of buck season, their Dad was up and gone early.

Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home, 339 Chicora Fenelton Road in Chicora from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the Karns City United Methodist Church, where funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Glea Foster, church pastor, officiating.

Interment with full military honors accorded by Dierken Ritzert American Legion Post No. 642 in Chicora, and Dexter Leroy Donaldson VFW Post No. 7876 in Chicora, will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery in Petrolia, Pa.

Tammy L. Rudloff, 25

YOUNGSTOWN – Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Tammy L. Rudloff, 25, of Gateways for Better Living, who died Friday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Boardman Campus.

Tammy was born May 27, 1983 in East Liverpool, and was the daughter of James and Debbie (Rowbotham) Rudloff.

She had attended Leonard-Kirtz School in Austintown.

Tammy is survived by her parents of Youngstown and two siblings, James B. and Danielle Rudloff.

She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Stephanie and Jolyn Rudloff.

Jeanne C. Schriner, 93

AUSTINTOWN – Jeanne C. Schriner, 93, of Westchester Drive, passed away early Saturday afternoon, Nov. 29, 2008.

Jeanne was born Aug. 4, 1915 in Dubois, Pa., a daughter of the late Frederick and Vera B. Burns Nollen, and came to this area in 1941.

She graduated from high school in Punxsutawney, Pa. in 1933 and was a graduate of the St. Vincent School of Nursing in Erie, Pa.

Jeanne was a registered nurse anesthetist for 34 years at St. Francis Hospital in Pittsburgh, St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, and Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, retiring in 1967.

Jeanne was a member of St. Joseph Church in Austintown.

Mrs. Schriner leaves her son, Michael J. Schriner of Austintown; four grandchildren, Kelley Shaughnessy, Ken Schriner, Karen Bartoletti, and Kathleen Briggs; and eight great-grandchildren, Jacob, Mathew, Jordan, Kelsey, Jeremy, Justin, Elijah, and Anastasia.

Jeanne will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her husband, Donald G. Schriner, whom she married in 1941, passed away in 1968. Three brothers, Jacob A. Nollen, Frederick W. Nollen, and Jerome F. Nollen; and five sisters, Ruth G. Schriner, Josephine Burch, Esther M. “Peggy” Kukula, Marian Van Valien, and Rosemary Baker, are also deceased.

Louis Travasso, 86

BOARDMAN – There will be funeral services at noon Wednesday, Dec. 3, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman for Louis Travasso, who passed away Sunday morning, Nov. 30.

Louis was born Dec. 13, 1921 in Youngstown, the son of Liberato and Luisa (DeChristoforo) Travasso.

He retired from Youngstown Steel Door and served his country during WWII with the U.S. Army.

Louis will always be remembered by his nephew, Carl J. (Sally) Esposito of Liberty, and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John and Nicholas Travasso and his sisters, Julia Cerimeli, Amelia Carson, Anna Basil, Rita Dewitt and Irene Maiorana.

Joseph Verbosky, 79

COLVER, PA. – Joseph Verbosky, 79, died Nov. 29, 2008 in Ebensburg, Pa.

He was born Jan. 12, 1929 in Seger, Pa., a son of George and Julia Hovance Verbosky.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Steve, George, John and Paul; and sisters, Margaret, Verna and Mary.

He is survived by his wife, the former Nancy Murphy, whom he married July 3, 1954; children, Joseph C., married to the former Deborah Janis (Youngstown) of Beaver Falls, Pa., Steve and Barb Verbosky of Colver, Joyce and Bob Dominick of Colver and Andrea and Michael Leibfried of Comemaugh Township, Pa.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren, including Joey Verbosky of Beaver Falls.

Joe was a member of the American Legion Post 363, and past commander of VFW Post 4963, both of Ebensburg. He was an Army veteran of WWII, serving with the Occupation Force 3rd Army and in the 325 Airborne Infantry Regiment of the 82nd Airbone during the Korean War. He retired from the Ebensburg State Center.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Matevish & Matevish Funeral Home in Ebensburg.

A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Colver.

Marc Vaughn Young, 58

YOUNGSTOWN – Marc Vaughn Young, 58, went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 26 at St. Elizabeth Health Center.

Marc was born Aug. 25, 1950 in Youngstown, a son of the late Marvin and Mae Vaughn Young.

He attended North High School, was employed at Youngstown Metropolitan Housing Authority and was a member of the Bethel Lighthouse Ministries, Inc., where he served as a deacon and musician.

Marc leaves to cherish his memory three sons, Okang and Chad Jackson and Eric Cloud; four daughters, Nikita Williams, Ivory Dawson, Karma Young and Zuri Cloud; a brother, Kim Young; a sister, Toni Young; 20 grandchildren; an uncle, Lawrence Vaughn; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Celeste Young and a loving companion, Essie Carnathan.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Howard-Rhoden Memorial Home.

Eligio “Louie” Zuccaro, 96

POLAND – Eligio “Louie” Zuccaro, 96, died Sunday afternoon at Hospice of the Valley Hospice House.

Mr. Zuccaro was born March 6, 1912, in Supino, Italy, a son of Ottavio and Maria Palazzo Zuccaro. He came to the United States and to Aliquippa, Pa., at the age of 17, in 1929. In 1946 he made his home in Poland.

He was a structural ironworker for Local 207 for 30 years, retiring in 1976. Mr. Zuccaro was a member of the Struthers VFW Post No. 3538 and bowled in two leagues at the Holiday Bowl in Struthers until this year. He was a member of the Holy Family Church in Poland.

His wife, the former Pauline Babich, whom he married Dec. 13, 1936, died May 6, 2000.

He leaves four daughters, Mary (John Jr.) Garthwaite of Poland, Lois (Steve) Sweetko of Schaumburg, Ill., Elizabeth (Scott) Hockenberry of Boardman, and Pauline Zuccaro at home; three sons, Vincent (Connie) Zuccaro of Boardman, Gerald Zuccaro of Youngstown, and Eugene (Linda) Zuccaro of Poland; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents and wife, Mr. Zuccaro was preceded in death by one son, Louis Zuccaro; one great-grandson, Randy Davis; two brothers, Rocco and Angelo Zuccaro; and three sisters, Anna, Josephine, and Elizabeth.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland and at noon at the Holy Family Church.

Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
