Helen Bloomberg, 89
CANFIELD Services will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Ohev Tzedek Synagogue for Helen Bloomberg, 89, who died early Friday morning at the home of her son-in-law in Canfield.
Mrs. Bloomberg was born July 15, 1919 in Cleveland, a daughter of Charles and Helen Rex.
Helen graduated from nursing school in Ashtabula. She worked for the Youngstown Hospital Association at Northside Hospital.
She was a member of the Ohev Tzedek Temple and several other community organizations.
Her husband, Dr. Louis Bloomberg, whom she married in 1969, died in 2007.
She is survived by her son-in-law, Carl (Judy Wilks) Mikkelsen of Canfield; daughter-in-law, Judy Bloomberg of Boardman; grandchildren, Michael Bloomberg, Lisa Resnick, Daniel and Dennis Mikkelsen, Carli Wojciak, and Andrea Lupton; and 10 great-grandchildren. She also leaves nieces and nephews, Karyn Bloomberg, Jerry and Joanne Bloomberg, Ellen and Kathy Bloomberg, Sanford and Linda Bloomberg, Janie and Gary Hockstein.
Besides her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by a son, Gary Bloomberg; a daughter, Linda Mikkelsen; and two sisters, Jean and Virginia.
Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 2:30 p.m. at the Temple.

Evelyn G. Butterfield, 91
WARREN There will be services at 11 a.m. Monday at the Anstrom-Velker Funeral Home, 75 E. Midlothian Blvd., for Evelyn G. Butterfield, 91, who died Thursday afternoon at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
Evelyn was born Aug. 20, 1917 in Warren, Pa., a daughter of Charles J. and Elizabeth Peterson Fredrickson.
After marriage, she and her husband, Bill, who was employed by G.E., moved to Erie, Pa. and then to Poland in 1964.
Evelyn was a 1936 graduate of Warren High School. She was a homemaker and a member of the Tod Avenue United Methodist Church. She was also a former member of the First Covenant Church in Boardman, where she sang in the choir for 30 years and was a member of Covenant Women. Evelyns priorities were always church, family and music.
Her husband of 56 years, William Harold Butterfield, whom she married Sept. 26, 1942, died Oct. 26, 1998.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Ann (John G.) Fulmer of Lordstown; her sons, William K. (Barb) Butterfield of Ashtabula and Ronald B. (Virginia A.) Butterfield of Jackson, N.J.; and her grandchildren, Stephanie A. Schermer, Dr. Kirsten Butterfield, Rya J. Butterfield and Adam P. Butterfield.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and six brothers.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday prior to the service.

Donald K. Greenawalt, 57
BOARDMAN Services are Monday at 1 p.m. at the Kubina Yuhasz Funeral Home, 5925 Market St., for Donald K. Greenawalt, 57, who died Wednesday, Nov. 19, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Mr. Greenawalt was born in Youngstown on May 15, 1951, a son of Ronald and Joanne Smith Greenawalt and was a 1969 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School.
He was employed as a forklift operator at Trinity Steel, formerly Syro Steel, and retired in 2004 after more than 25 years of service. He loved to work on cars.
Besides his parents of Austintown, Donald is survived by his son, Jason Greenawalt of Poland; his three daughters, Dawn Marie Greenawalt of Vienna, Melissa (Tim) Chizmar of Poland, and Alyson (Dan) Klingensmith of Austintown; his brother, Ken Greenawalt of Orlando, Fla.; his sister, Pam Galler of Ft. Myers, Fla.; and his grandsons, Zachary Greenawalt and Andrew Chizmar.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from noon to 1 p.m., one hour prior to the service.

Pamela E. Jones, 52
YOUNGSTOWN Services will be Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, at noon at the Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church for Mrs. Pamela E. Jones, 52, who went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008, at her residence.
Mrs. Jones was born Dec. 28, 1955 in Youngstown, a daughter of Geralene Rogers and Mizell Chick Stewart.
She was a beloved wife and mother. Mrs. Jones attended the Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church. She deeply loved her family, friends, church members and co-workers.
Pamela was a 1973 South High School graduate. She was employed as a secretary for the City of Youngstown in the Community Development Agency for 31 years. Pamela was also an AFSCME Local 2312 union member for 31 years.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Robert D. Jones, whom she married on Sept. 9, 1978; one son, Robert C. Jones (Jamie Diemert); three daughters, Jessica D. Jones, Megan L. Jones and Michalyn L. Jones; two sisters, LaVonne M. Richey-Madison of Youngstown and Michalynn M. Jones of Chesapeake, Va.; one brother, James K. Richey (Tracy) of Williamsburg, Va.; seven grandchildren, Robert C. Jones Jr. and Jordan D. Jones, both of Columbus, and Mia P. Nadal, Paul A. Nadal Jr., Tyrell O. Rodgers, Makayla R. Jones-Padilla and Christian J. Jones, all of Youngstown; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Paul C. Butts and a granddaughter, Destiny M. Jones-Padilla, all of Youngstown.

Rosalie Lewinsky, 66
YOUNGSTOWN - Rosalie Lewinsky, 66, passed away unexpectedly late Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 19, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Health Center after becoming ill at home.
Rosalie was born July 6, 1942 in Dickinson, N.D., a daughter of the late Michael and Mary Zagurski Osadchuk. She moved to Cleveland with her family in 1954 and came to Youngstown in 1964.
She was a homemaker and worked for 25 years for Blue Ribbon Dry Cleaning, retiring just this past May as a cleaner.
Mrs. Lewinsky was a member of the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, where she had been a pyrohy worker and was a former CCD teacher.
Rosalie leaves her husband, Edward Lewinsky, whom she married Oct. 3, 1964; two sons, Wayne (Annette) Lewinsky of Biloxi, Miss. and Lance (Rachel) Lewinsky of Medway; two daughters, Gwen Lewinsky-Colucci (Jack) of Bazetta Township and Andrea Lewinsky of Boardman; four grandchildren, Janina, Brian, Cassandra, and Logan; and four sisters, Natalie Masula, Teddi (Michael) Jaryga, Ceil (Dan) Kattler, all of Cleveland, and Adele Catanzaro of Columbus.
Besides her parents, a brother, Adrian Osadchuk is deceased.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road in Youngstown, where a prayer service will be held at 6 p.m.
Funeral services will begin Monday at 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home, and continue at 10 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church on Rayen Avenue.
Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Vincent A. Vinnie Oddo, 45
CANFIELD Prayers will begin Monday morning at 9:45 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel followed by a Mass celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at St. Columba Cathedral, for Vincent A. Vinnie Oddo, 45, who died Wednesday evening.
Vinnie was born July 16, 1963 in Cleveland, the son of Biagio and Virginia Zurga Oddo, and moved to this area in 1991.
He was a graduate of Kenston High School and later earned his certification as a diesel mechanic technician. He was a construction worker and a member of Laborers International Union of North America Local No. 125.
Vinnie especially enjoyed spending time with his family, and was involved in his daughters ice skating activities through the Skating Club of Greater Youngstown. He also enjoyed hunting, driving his GTO, riding his Harley, and was an avid NASCAR fan.
Always willing to share his time and his skills as a handyman, he will be remembered by all as Mr. Fix It.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, the former Renee Gaglione and two daughters, Adrianna J. Oddo and Carlie R. Oddo, all at home; his parents, Biagio and Virginia Oddo of Auburn; two sisters, Colleen (Paul) Givens of New Port Richey, Fla. and Dawn (Eric) Thut of Aurora; mother-in-law, Brenda Gaglione of Columbiana; father-in-law, Anthony Gaglione of Canfield; brother-in-law, T.J. (Rochelle) Gaglione of Columbiana; sisters-in-law, Michelle (John) DeRose of North Lima, Karen (Dave) Markulin of Canfield, and Dana (Norm) Moses of Austintown; and many nieces and nephews that remember him as a wonderful uncle.

Fay T. Untch, 79
BOARDMAN Prayers will begin at 10 a.m. at the Fox Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Dominic Church, for Fay T. Untch, 79, who died Friday morning at Austinwoods.
Mrs. Untch was born March 20, 1929, in Youngstown, a daughter of Joseph F. and Ellen M. Fahey Drummond.
She attended South High School. Fay was a member of the church and its Senior Citizens Group. She was president of the residence at Austinwoods. Fay belonged to TOPS and was active in the Camp Fire Girls years ago.
Besides her husband, Edward A. Untch Sr., whom she married March 2, 1957, she leaves a son, Edward A. (Kimberly) Untch Jr. of Boardman; four brothers, Thomas J. Drummond of Youngstown, John Paul Drummond of Berlin Center, James E. Drummond of Boardman and D. Michael Drummond of Canfield; five sisters, Anne George of Boardman, Mariellen Werner of Boardman , Patricia Gibson of Youngstown, Louise Dattilo of Boardman and Donna Graham of Boardman; and three granddaughters, Sarah, Kadi and Amy.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Joann Fay Untch, two brothers; Joseph Drummond, Paul Drummond; and a sister, Norma Jean Donoghue.
