Patricia Pat (Mason) Beer
INDIANAPOLIS Patricia Pat (Mason) Beer was born in Youngstown on Oct. 26, 1933 to Thomas E. and Margaret M. (Pautot) Mason and completed her earthly journey on Nov. 12, 2008.
After marrying Jerry Beer in 1955, they were a military family until they moved to Greencastle, Ind. in 1972. Pat worked for DePauw University for nine years moving to Indianapolis in 1986.
She was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church, where she worked for 10 years and was a member of the Sunshine Club and a Small Church Community. She had been a volunteer at St. Vincent Hospice.
She is remembered by her husband, Jerry, of 53 years, and daughter, Therese (Jud) McKinney of Indianapolis, and sons, Terry (Kathyrn) of St. Paul, Minn. and Tim (Paula) of Tucson, Ariz. She is also remembered by her brother, Robert (Beth) Mason of Tallmadge and by four loving grandchildren, Kyle, Paul, Danielle, and Erik.
Calling will be held Monday, Nov. 17, 2008, from 4 to 8 p.m. with a scripture prayer service at 7:45 p.m. at the Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center, Washington Park North, 2706 Kessler Blvd. West Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46228.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008, at 10 a.m. at St. Monica Catholic Church, 6131 N. Michigan Road, Indianapolis, IN 46228.
Entombment will be at Washington Park North Cemetery.

Luann Coriston, 52
AUSTINTOWN Funeral services will be held at noon Monday, Nov. 17, at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Luann Coriston, 52, who passed away Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008.
She was born May 20, 1956 in Youngstown, to the late Patrick Anthony and Eleanor (DeRose) Pilolli.
She graduated from Chaney High School in 1974 and was the manager of the shoe department at Kmart in Austintown for 17 years.
Luann loved spending time cooking her favorite dishes for her family. She was a doting grandmother and particularly loved traveling to the beach with her family. Her children will always fondly remember her shopping and writing e-mails on the computer.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Coriston of Austintown, whom she married on April 3, 1976.
She leaves two daughters, Attorney Kerri Coriston of Pittsburgh and Candance Coriston of Austintown; a son, Robert Coriston Jr. of Austintown; and one granddaughter, Kaylee. She also leaves one brother, Patrick (Linda) Pilolli; one sister, Elizabeth Martin-Culet; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. and Monday from 11 a.m. to noon.
Flossie G. Gault, 87
BERLIN CENTER Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Flossie G. Gault, 87, formerly of Berlin Center, died Thursday evening at Mayfair Village in Columbus.
Flossie was born Oct. 19, 1921 in Berlin Center, the daughter of Todd and Hazel (Wilsdorf) Baringer.
Flossie was a member of the First Federated Church of North Jackson and graduated from Berlin Center High School.
She is survived by her sons, James (Karen) Gault of Columbus and Gary (Claudia) Gault of Oakridge, Tenn.; grandchildren, Josh Gault, Levi Gault and Claire Thorpe; and great-grandchildren, Marcus and Isaac.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Gault, whom she married Sept. 2, 1947, and died Feb. 3, 1990; and her sister, Ethel Baringer.

Louis A. Krolopp, 79
HUBBARD There will be a memorial service at 4 p.m. Sunday at the New Life Lutheran Church in Liberty Township, for Louis A. Krolopp, 79, who passed away Thursday at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Louis was born Oct. 4, 1929 in Youngstown, a son of Louis and Susan Gramelt Krolopp.
He was a lifelong area resident and was a graduate of The Rayen School. He was a sheet metal worker for many years for the heating and air conditioning industry, retiring in 1987. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, polka music and dancing. Louis was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict and was a member of West Middlesex VFW and Wheatland American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, the former Donna Beil; his children, Susan (Daniel) Paris of Brookfield, Lee A. (Diane) Krolopp of West Minister, Colo., Louis C. (Sheryl) Krolopp of Hubbard, James F. Krolopp of Denver, and Donna J. (David) Melanson of Austintown; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He also leaves a brother, Fred Krolopp of Niles and a sister, Carol Moss of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandsons.
There will be no calling hours.

Anna C. Reash, 92
COLUMBIANA Anna C. Reash, 92, passed away at 7:05 a.m. on Nov. 14, 2008, at the Hospice House in Poland.
Mrs. Reash was born on April 25, 1916 in Lisbon, the daughter of Earl and Ora (Murray) Crosser. She moved to Columbiana in 1951.
Anna attended the Grace Congregational Church, where she was a member of the Womens Guild and worked as secretary at the church in past years. Mrs. Reash was a cook for Joshua Dixon School in Columbiana for several years. Anna was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and served as a past 4-H leader for many years. Mrs. Reash also enjoyed sewing, cooking and reading.
Anna was preceded in death on March 17, 1987 by her husband, Kenneth B. Reash, whom she married Jan. 29, 1949.
She is survived by one daughter, Cathy (Marc) Smith of Austin, Texas; one son, Keith (Shelley) Reash of Columbiana; and four grandchildren, Kris, Tim, Samantha and Lindsay.
Anna was preceded in death by four brothers, Clarence, Paul, Donald and Carl Crosser and one sister, Camille Kelton.
A funeral service will be held Monday, Nov. 17, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana with Rev. Robert Joy officiating.
Burial will be at the Columbiana Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 17, 2008, at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana.

Victorina Betty Rowe
GIG HARBOR, WASH. Mrs. Victorina Betty Rowe was air lifted by helicopter from Harrison Hospital to Harborview Hospital in Seattle. After a 10 day stay, she was transported to Highland Hospital in Burian, Wash., where she was on life support until her passing on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008.
Mrs. Rowe was born in Cebu City, Philippines on Nov. 2, 1923.
Betty had a son and daughter from a previous marriage in the 1940s but her husband passed from a stroke, leaving her widowed.
She came to the state of Pennsylvania in 1975 with her daughter and son-in-law, who was offered a job at Youngstown Sheet and Tube.
Betty and Jerry met in 1977 and were married on Oct. 8, 1978. Betty later became a citizen on July 17, 1981 in Seattle.
Betty and Jerry enjoyed 30 years of marriage and lived in Gig Harbor, Wash. and both were members of VFW Post 3674 in Bremerton, Wash.
She leaves behind many family members, including her son and family of Oregon; her daughter and family of Snohomish, Wash.; several friends of both Ohio and Pennsylvania, especially the Youngstown and Hubbard areas; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren, she will be dearly missed by all.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21, 2008, at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Snohomish.
Arrangments are being handled by the Bauer Funeral Home in Snohomish.
Herbert S. Schadel, 82
BOARDMAN - Prayers will begin Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Charles Church for Herbert S. Schadel, 82, who passed away Thursday evening at Ron Joy Nursing Home.
Herbie was born Jan. 20, 1927 in Bad-Friedrichshall, Germany, the son of Josef and Anna Weckbacker Schadel. He came to this country in 1956.
He had worked as a tool and die maker at the GM Lordstown Plant for over 25 years before retiring in 1989. He was a member of St. Charles Church, a former member of its Resurrection Choir, the Saxon Club and its Conchordia Chorus, and the New Middletown Sportsmans Club.
He is survived by his wife the former Hilde Stecker, whom he married May 27, 1952; a daughter, Dorin N. Schadel of Dallas; two sons, Peter Schadel of Austintown and Ronald J. (Lisa) Schadel of Findlay; and four grandchildren, Eric, Marc, Derek, and Jessica Schadel.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Franz Schidel.

Allita Dee Dee Simmons, 55
YOUNGSTOWN There will be a memorial service at noon on Monday at the F.D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home Inc., for Allita Dee Dee Simmons, 55, who departed this life Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, at her residence.
Ms. Simmons was born Feb. 23, 1953 in Youngstown, a daughter of Donald and Helen Jackson Simmons. She had been an assembler for General Motors. She was a former member of the Greater Friendship Baptist Church. She was a 1973 graduate of The Rayen School.
She leaves a son, Lance Simmons of Youngstown; two sisters, Sandra (Billy) Terrell of San Antonio and Brenda (Anthony) Adams of Youngstown; and a brother, N. Maurice Skeet Simmons of Prescott, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Amy Simmons.

Genevieve Jenny M. (Ferry) Wrightsman, 72
Together Again
BAZETTA Genevieve Jenny M. (Ferry) Wrightsman, 72, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2008, at her residence.
She was born on March 19, 1936 in Warren, Pa., the daughter of the late Ira Ferry and the late Josephine (Conklin) Ferry.
Jenny was a member of the Bazetta Christian Church. She enjoyed singing in the choir, crocheting, bowling and camping. She loved shopping, but her greatest love was her family.
She enjoyed being around children. She was active with the Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts and was a foster parent for 50 years, raising over 100 children.
Her husband, Ray Wrightsman, whom she married Nov. 12, 1956, preceded her in death on Nov. 5, 2006.
She is survived by four sons, Robert E. (Nancy) of Italy, Ray C. (Barbara) of Gustavus, James A. (Karen) of Bazetta and Gregory at home; four daughters, Peggy Sue Wrightsman of Vienna, Heather Ann Wrightsman of Lordstown, Brandee (Jeremy) Hollinsworth of Warren and Krista Wrightsman at home; one brother, Ira Mike (Ida) Ferry of Warren; and two sisters, Dorothy Carrier of Hartford and Josephine Mary McLaughlin of Corsica, Pa. Also surviving are six grandsons, Justin, Joshua, Mathew, Ryan, Jamie and Zachary and three granddaughters, Jessica, Angelina and Rebecca.
Mrs. Wrightsman was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Don Ferry and Jerry Ferry.
Arrangements are being handled by the Shafer-Winans Funeral Chapel in Cortland, where the family will receive friends Monday, Nov. 17, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be at the Bazetta Christian Church on Tuesday at 11 a.m.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Interment will be at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Oakland, Md.

Beverly A. Yanni, 57
LAKE MILTON Beverly A. Yanni, 57, formerly of Steubenville, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.
She was born Aug. 29, 1951 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Jerome and Olga Duda Starr.
She was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church in Lake Milton. Bev was the former owner and operator of The Hair Hut and The Village Sleep Center.
Preceding Bev in death was her husband, Anthony J. Yanni, on Dec. 14, 1997.
Surviving are her children, Anthony (Janice) Yanni of Longmeadow, Mass., Jason (Becca) Yanni of Westerville, and Christina (John) Canella and Michael Yanni, both of Scottsdale, Ariz.; grandchildren, Carey, Hailey and Nico Canella, Adalenna Starr Yanni and William Anthony Yanni; sister, Bonnie Kosta of Lake Milton; and brothers, Robert (Michelle) Starr of Eden Prairie, Minn., Brian (Patty) Starr of Poland and William (Kathi) Starr of Canfield.
