KnowledgeWorks Foundation of Cincinnati, a financial supporter of the Youngstown Early College, said its analysis of the program shows some impressive results:
75 percent of students are successfully earning college credit with a grade of C or better.
100 percent of the students receive academic intervention and support from a variety of resources, both from YEC and Youngstown State University staff.
100 percent of the students passed the reading, writing, and social studies portion of the Ohio Graduation Test on their first attempt.
Students have earned 1,162 college credit hours in the school's three-year history.
