Traffic stop leads to arrest on warrant

YOUNGSTOWN — Police officers on a routine patrol Saturday saw two vehicles following each other north on Market Street, and made a traffic stop because of an unsecured license plate on one vehicle.

They discovered that the driver, Terrell Greer, 31 of Bonnie Brae Avenue, had a suspended license and that the Austintown Police Department had an arrest warrant for him.

A search of the auto yielded a small amount of marijuana, a police report said. Greer was taken to Austintown police.
