COACHING STAFF: Brian Shaner (9th season, 41-39). Assistants: Dennis Parise, Nick Horvath, Gary Thornton, Bill Burton, John Protapapa, Jarrel Murry.
PLAYOFF HISTORY: 2 years, 1-2. Last appearance, 1997.
OUTLOOK: The reorganization of the Youngstown City Schools means a unique challenge for Coach Brian Shaner. Meshing the former Chaney players with the returnees from East will be as important as the Xs and Os. East doesn’t lack for experience in the backfield, with QB Robert Thompkins and RBs DD Fleetion, George Lafloor and Steven Shackelford. All of those players have at least two letters. Albert Byrd and Davon Edwards will be important members of the lines.

I don't know the facts about what happened in Lodi, but I can tell you noteworthy, these kids were between 9 and 12 when this occured.
I se you've posted on Chaney. Yeah we SCRIMMAGED ITCL teams, but we're not PLAYING Y-town Christian!!!
