After a 1-9 season, Chaney has turned the program over to alumnus Jim Vivo, who will begin his sixth season as a varsity head coach. Vivo guided the 2000 Ursuline team to a Division IV state championship. He also coached at Lowellville from 1997-98. Vivo and his staff will have their hands full as the Cowboys have just eight lettermen and play a rugged schedule. Vivo says the Cowboys’ strengths are their speed, work ethic and players at the skill positions. Their weaknesses are lack of depth and inexperience.

Go Chaney!!!! They might not win many games this year, but they will in better shape and much more competative. Good luck to Coach Vivo and his staff, your hard work is going to pay off. As for Coach P, please go away!!!! and never coach football ever again.
