A new coaching staff will have a talented roster with a lot of speed and competition at every position, said Steve Sigworth. The first-year coach hopes the team’s overall depth can help turn around a team that went 1-9 in 2009. The biggest challenge, Sigworth said, is to get his team to buy into the new offensive and defensive schemes he brings to the table. The key to having a successful season, he said, is to get off to a fast start. And the only way to do that is to have 100 percent cooperation and belief in the coach’s system.
